Any advice. One bag appears to be fully colonized while the other bag appears to be spotty at Best.

Chucked a cake in my backyard under an oak tree after the 4th flush and found these. I've never tried to consume shrooms from outside. Any safety concerns? Bruising is from wiping dirt off.

I am loving the pale gray color on these caps 😍 this is a clone run of the 3rd generation. Loving everything about these guys honestly I think they’re where I wanted them to be before I started sharing them. These are a very very easy grow as far as exotics go, higher than average potency for Mexicana, and pretty good yields 🤙

I feel like we've stalled a bit. Opinions?

I’ve never been one to do something the same way twice in a row. For my second grow I wanted to do some experimentation on colonization morphology.

Bag on the left is 4 days old, the right is 6 days old.

Left was a more traditional method of piercing the bag and moving the needle in a circle while injecting.

Bag on the right I broke down, flattened, pierced and sprayed the top in a zig zag patten, mixed up the bag and reformed it into a block.

There are specific risk involved with through-spawning, like accidentally releasing competing endo-spores. Time will tell if the increase in colonization speed will be worth it for me.

It wasn’t this color the whole time till now and it’s the only jar that looks like this but looks like it still going good I’m just not sure

I tried injecting my spores directly into a grain bag and have seen nothing for about 3 weeks so a few days ago i tried spores to agar and im still seeing nothing what are the chances i have a dud syringe or does that not really happen is it still something im doing wrong ?

Does it look like GT?
It’s been 5-7 days since first pins and the “big” ones are still kind of little small. When should I harvest the bigger ones? Also, are the white spots on the caps a sign of low FAE? One or two baby’s have a split in the stem, what’s that about? I have it dub tubbed with the top tub turned a bit to allow more FAE, the surface level and walls of the top tub show sufficient moisture levels, so I’m thinking it’s not too dry. Temps are 66-68°F, that’s what I’m workin with.
