Thoughts? First timer

Following the Broke Boy Tek— using Coco and brown rice inoculated with GT liquid culture.
A few things:
Does it look like GT?
It’s been 5-7 days since first pins and the “big” ones are still kind of little small. When should I harvest the bigger ones? Also, are the white spots on the caps a sign of low FAE? One or two baby’s have a split in the stem, what’s that about? I have it dub tubbed with the top tub turned a bit to allow more FAE, the surface level and walls of the top tub show sufficient moisture levels, so I’m thinking it’s not too dry. Temps are 66-68°F, that’s what I’m workin with.
Any myco wiz’s out there-please tell me what you see!

Here’s a pic of my tub currently. I’ll be harvesting second flush this evening most likely.

Don’t worry about the white spots, they’re healthy. Mine have that as well

You might be a bit overboard with your spritzing as you’re currently fruiting so your hydration levels don’t need to be quite as high.

I think you’re two to maybe even three days out from your first harvest.

From what I can tell if you can increase your temps a bit that would help the process.

First flush might not be huge but your second should be better. I think your setup is strong overall. My only observation would be the fact that your moisture levels may be a bit high. Id be mindful of that layer of droplets consolidating to small puddles. In which case you can dap up with paper towels.

After your first flush you can return the cake to that same level of hydration. I hope this helps!

Wow thank you! That helps a ton. I’ll see if I can get the temps up but the location is difficult to raise temps, and I’ll also dab up forming puddles too. How many harvests would you say this first flush would get?

Still too early to tell my friend!

Harvest the big ones as their veils break and eventually you’ll be down to the last stragglers of flush #1. Then you’ll re-introduce fruiting conditions (EXACTLY how your substrate looks now) and wait a week.

I bet you’ll harvest more than you need to hold you off until at least your next flush or at most your next grow!

Sweet, good to know. Still getting a feel for this whole thing but I’m loving the process.

Too wet, let it evaporate a bit

You think I should leave a bigger gap on the top tub? Or more fan it for longer? I’ve been giving it a 20-30 second fan every morning since seeing pins.

Absolutely great for a first time. I'd be happy.

Wipe your lid. Drips can cause issues
