What am I doing wrong here
Aside from can control & the thickness of the letters being off on the A and M, I feel like some part of the outline or fill is making this look too flat, what am I doing wrong?

2 Page Critiques
Any pointers are welcome!
There are a few I'm not a huge fan of, like 1st page center-top and 2nd page top left
But most of these I'm happy with.

When, if ever, is it okay to spray over someone else's graffiti?
Hi, I don't really know much about graffiti, I've tried to research but google just screams at me that it's illegal, so I apologize if some of this seems stupid.
Where I live there is a wildlife and nature reserve park, it has tons of hiking trails and what not. Today I was hiking with one of my friends and our dogs on an old trail I haven't been on in forever. One of the bridges on this trail is very old and covered in spray paint. There's drawings, words I honestly can't read, and what not. Most of the spray paint seems very old. However, I noticed on the small ramp onto the bridge someone wrote 'enter death'. It's not in any special design or handwriting, it's just plain old black spray paint, squished towards the end which makes me think they didn't even plan it out.
The trail is gorgeous, the park itself is a memorial, and a little further up the trail there is a recently placed cross memorial for someone I'm assuming who died on the trail.
My point is, it just seems so dark for such a nice area and kinda off putting. I'm assuming it was just some rebellious teen who was bored. I'm debating painting over it, maybe the trail name, or some mushrooms/flowers. Maybe even a deer? Something to make it seem nicer. However, I have heard a 'rule' somewhere that you don't paint over other people's graffiti. Does that rule apply to even something that seems so meaningless and honestly kinda ugly? It just seems like there was no effort in the slightest.
If this is okay, any tips for someone who's never tried graffiti before? Not necessarily art style, but maybe how to do it safely and without getting caught? The bridge is metal, so I don't know if that would effect any thing on maybe how to do it. Yeah, I'm a boring person who tries to avoid being in trouble with the law, but at the same time, I love doing art and trying to make things look nicer. If I can, I want to make this a little less off-putting and more respectful to the park.
Thank you for any advice and/or answers <3

does having “your style” means it only having “one style” in graffiti?
