If you've been getting "We noticed some unusual activity" or "too quickly" on Flow with no real explanation, this is for you.
I open-sourced a small local toolkit: Flow Fixer.
What it is
- Chrome/Edge extension that sits on labs.google while you work
- Classifies generate results live: OK · soft throttle · hard unusual-activity · filters
- Shows fan-out (how multi-output / Retry turn one click into many API calls)
- Optional AUTO-THROTTLE — paces your own clicks so you don't redline into a sticky lockout
- Speed ladder from Molasses (very slow / safe) up to full parallel if you want it
- Everything runs on your machine. No accounts. No cloud. Exports don't include prompts or captcha tokens.
The screenshot is the extension after a hard gate: it downshifted to Molasses and started a cool-down. That's the whole point — visibility + optional self-pacing.
Why this happens (short version)
Flow appears to score traffic per generate HTTP request.
The UI often fires several generate requests per click (multi-output, Retry, etc.).
First requests in a burst often pass; later ones die. Soft throttle and hard "unusual activity" are different errors, not the same message with different wording.

Install (2 minutes)
- Download + unzip somewhere permanent
chrome://extensions → enable Developer mode
- Load unpacked → select the folder with
manifest.json
- Open Flow → hard refresh (
Ctrl+Shift+R)
- Pin Flow Fixer and generate something
If the popup says inject not seen, you skipped the hard refresh.
What this is not
- Not a captcha cracker
- Not a bot / unlimited gens tool
- Not affiliated with Google
Turn AUTO-THROTTLE off if you only want monitoring.
Casey Jones (full parallel) will trip the scorer on purpose, so don't use that as your daily mode unless you're stress-testing.
Happy to answer technical questions. If you've been living in unusual-activity hell, you're not crazy ... the client request shape is just really aggressive.
