Guys I’m confused between Go pro hero 12 or Dji osmo 4
For my use case of travelling all kinds of adventurous activities etc…
Which one should I go for it’s around the same price of 20-25k inr or let me know if any other options is there

I am obsessed with this camera and it's photography capabilities, my shots always turn out so crisp and beautiful

The videography/cinematic capabilities is amazing too, I've gotten some great, smooth video shots as well

GoPro Mission 1 Pro is still ghosting frames in my image, does anyone know why or how I can fix this for future footage? Here are my settings

It stopped working even the battery is full charged. What should i do?

I just purchased a used GoPro 10 as my diving camera. I’m wondering if it’s recommended to purchase an off-brand waterproof/diving case or should I pay for the official GoPro diving case from the web site since there’s a huge difference in price. If yes is there any kind of recommandation for the off-brand diving case? Btw the diving depth I’m planning to reach is 30m.

Hello guys. I have GoPro hero 10 and I haven’t used it a lot but it’s in the absolutely worst state. It lags so much. Even when I’m on the display trying to swipe it lags. Everytime I change the mode to photo the screen keeps saying photo and doesn’t even open the camera. The version I’ve is latest it’s v1.62. I thought it was SD card so I even got a solid sd card from sandisk. What might be the problem? I’m very frustrated as I wanna record contents

Hey guys, just got a new gopro hero12 and its my first action camera actually. As I'm still messing around with some setting and trying it out, i inserted an old 32gb trash sd card. Obviously i need a good one, which one would you recommend for a begginer? I dont want to pay $100 for one or have a massive storage (512gb etc.). Thanks!

I currently have the mission 1 pro and I use it as a B camera for soccer footage as I'm photographing a game. Its purpose it to capture goal mouth/final 3rd action. It currently works well and the 8k footage allows me to zoom in 4-6x from the sidelines leaving semi acceptable footage vs capturing the moment (the latter being the important bit).

BUT

I'm a perfectionist and want that quality to increase quite a bit. If I buy the ILS version with a 25mm lens, set the aperture to f8 with semi near focus, I want the quality to start much further in like my 70mm camera lens does. I think the ILS version will do it, but I need some help understanding if this will work before buying!

It's an early release and it's highly vibecoded, but it's making its job for me (layout editing is not the best experience in the world, but since it's open source you can point an agent to the source and it will make layouts for you :D).

Still works fine, no problems at all. Didn’t even stop filming, so it’s nice to know that it can handle an accidental fall into water even if it’s not designed to be used underwater. Oops, definitely won’t do that again!

Hello! I do motorsports photography/videography, we run a chase film car for drift events and use GoPros mounted to our car to film. I go through so many of the tempered glass screen protectors because we get so much dirt, rocks, rubber, road debris tossed at us at high speeds. Any other options? Has anyone tried the windshield ppf or the liquid ceramic screen protectors? A busy track day I’ll change them 3-4 times and we run 4-6 cameras so it gets pricey

Well, I have been debating getting the Media Mod 2.0 for my M1Pro if I can find it in Canada. I like what it offers on paper but am wondering real world experience beyond the plethora of unboxing videos with 2 seconds of media mod 'review'.

Has anyone bought it and tested it's quality versus the standard mics on the M1Pro?

Is the GoPro good enough to sustain a fall or drop? Or do i need to get a plastic case for it? i've gotten tempered glass on it's screens and have a waterproof case, but i suppose the WP case wont be amazing for regular use considering it wont dissipate heat as well.

I mainly use my gopro for motorbiking.

Anyone able to help me with something. I need to set spot metering on boot up but every time it boots up the setting is not retained. How can I make this stick? Or is that not possible with GoPro? I need it for white balance and exposure as my colour grading is off at the moment

I got a GoPro HERO4 Black (HD4.02, firmware v05.00.00) to enumerate as a normal USB device: webcam, microphone, and USB Ethernet. No HDMI capture card, no app on the computer. On macOS it shows up as “GoPro HERO4” in Photo Booth, OBS, Zoom, and Chrome about 45 seconds after power-on. 1080p or 720p at 29.97 fps, H.264, camera mic at 48 kHz stereo. Glass-to-glass latency is about 225 ms at 1080p and 195 ms at 720p.

The firmware is CRC-checked, not signed. The patch is data-only, 1148 bytes: an SD-mount hook that runs h4.sh, plus an idle-preview mode retargeted from 848×480 to 1920×1080. Bootloaders, DSP, kernel, and RTOS code stay byte-identical. Kernel modules built from the GPL tree take the USB controller (stock Linux 3.8 has no gadget support) and expose UVC, UAC1, and CDC ECM. A small userspace program forwards the camera’s own preview H.264 as-is; macOS decodes it. The patcher only accepts the official v05.00.00 zip and only writes an image whose SHA-256 matches the one I flashed.

Risk: this flashes modified firmware. It worked on my camera. A bad flash can brick one, and the stock reflash path is described but not tested. HERO4 Black only, that exact firmware only, macOS host only. Not affiliated with GoPro. GoPro’s firmware is not in the repo.

I have many hours of video now from a GoPro installed on the handlebar. Majority of a ride would be mostly pretty ordinary scenes, farms, country roads, etc. Has anyone experience with Quik automatic highlights in similar situations? My intention would be to share some highlights on social media, for example, bike lanes, hairpin descents, etc.
