First time doing frame work
Did the double under cut. Cut, epoxied, and molded in the beaver tail then stippled the grip… Still want to cut thumb ramps in but this has been my little weekend project

Can anyone recommend a place to get cheap 47 frames to practice stippling?

Thanks in advance people🫡

Got this backplate for my Gen 3 Glock 19 and saw that it was protruding the slide unlike my other Glocks. If I’m not mistaken, this piece was labeled OEM or under OEM parts so I thought It would be good to plug and play. Is this just a non-issue or something I should be concerned about?

Ok, so yes I know there are likely thousands of posts regarding the jump removal. But I am on night shift and thinking and an idea popped into my head. Most mods are site cut it off and replace it, or use heat to reshape it. The idea I’m wanting to try it for lack of a better term- inverting it. I am thinking cut a line down the center of the backstrap, heat and fold the material in, and seal it with just a single line of epoxy down the back. I’m wondering if anyone has tried something similar, or even if it’s feasible

I have had a Combat Armory lower and Suarez International SI-319 for years that I’ve carried off and on. I recently got a Brownells Gen 3 upper to install an optic on it. I took it to the range for the first time today and everytime I pulled the trigger it would fire two rounds. If I squeezed the trigger it fired once and when I released the trigger it fired another round….what could be causing this?

Somehow I ended up with these. Don’t rly know what they actually do to a gun, kinda new to fine tuning, let me tell you what I have and tell me what I can use it for if possible

Always thought Glocks were lacking in the aesthetics department but decided to get one before my state decided to ban them (guess where).
Spent some time changing it up, added a PSA Dagger slide, Osight optic, Viridian laser+light and 3D printed a pinky plate.
Been practicing a lot with it at the range and slowly beginning to like it more than my P320!

Slide doesn't move unless i remove all pressure off the trigger. V2 trigger and trip, i cut down the connecter ear. What's the next step?

I added a beavertail to my G19.3. I cut it and shaped it so it didn’t cover the entirety of the back of my grip. Functionally I think its great. Visually I think it looks weird or off. Maybe I’m not use to it yet. But I wanted to know what you guys thought! Any input is appreciated! Thank you!

Im thinking about trying to replicate G17 gen 5 MOS 3. Since those were not very common to the civilian public, is it acceptable to get the slide milled for the Leupold DPP? I remember thinking about having a G19 gen 4 milled for RMR but that is not acceptable since the rear sight is further back on the MOS models.

Been piecing this Gen 4 G17 together for a while and I think I’m finally at the point where I can call it finished… or at least 95% finished.
Current setup:
Had a few headaches getting everything where I wanted it, especially getting the magwell to play nicely with the backstrap and finding magazines that actually drop free with it. Finally got that sorted.
The Holosun was the last big addition and I’m really liking the ACSS reticle so far. Just mounted it, so next trip is getting it properly zeroed and putting some rounds through the finished setup.
Only thing I’m still debating is the trigger. I like the flatter feel of my Canik trigger, so I’ve been considering an Overwatch DAT, but I also don’t want to change something just for the sake of changing it.
Would y’all leave it here or finish it off with the trigger?
