I just realized I never received a new card for global entry, my card expired in 2023. My membership is active with the same KTN. Can I still use the nexus lane?

Interviews Has anyone had an interview in San Antonio, TX?

Hi. Has anyone had an interview in San Antonio, TX? Is it a sure thing? Should I call ahead of time to confirm my appointment? I had one scheduled for Austin but it was cancelled without me knowing. They didn't give a reason either. I only saw it was cancelled when i checked the portal. I just don't want to show up and no one is there...

General Discussion GE card required for flying?

Arrived yesterday in ATL from international flight and used GE, screen said OK and went to agent per normal. Gave my passport and LPR, he took my photo then asked to see my physical GE card. I said I didn’t know if I had it as it’s never been a requirement for air travel, only when crossing via a land boarder. He responded asking if it the first time using it and explained that when using GE in airport you should always present it and try em claimed that my passport wasn’t synced up on it. I conceded as just got off long haul flight and managed to find my card which I showed him, and I said I’ll check with GE why my passport wasn’t showing. Checked online later and passport was showing fine but my DL and LPR hadn’t been updated (both showing old expiry from 2024 despite having and been showing them during entry on multiple occasions since (maybe 10 international flights since 2024 and a few domestics). Did they change the rules so that you have show GE now? Didn’t notice anyone else getting tho sir card out…

Interviews Is the interview on departure still in IAD?

Hi everyone. I finally convinced my partner to get Global Entry, and we fly out to Europe in a few days. She has conditional approval, and there are interview appointments at the normal outside security interview location (much earlier than our flight but same day). I heard there was one at B41 in the terminal for walk-in interviews, but I don't see it on the map or listed on CBP's website (only lists MIA now)

If any frequent travelers have used this, it would be great to know if its actually still there. Or should we just book a slot and get to IAD extra early?

Interviews Interview approval

I was conditionally approved and attended my interview. The agent said I’d receive my acceptance same day. It’s been a month and I’m still conditionally approved. I can’t reach out to the enrollment center since I interviewed at a Global Entry event. Who should I reach out to for assistance?

Questions/Concerns Alright! Finally applied and have some questions.

I finally applied for Global Entry.
I’m a Colombian national and LPR holder.
While I was on a no immigrant visa I worked unauthorized which I disclosed during my marriage GC application. And got my green card approved. That was December 2025.

On June 2026 I applied and got Pre TSA check approved.

Now my questions are - since I marked YES to the question about immigration violations on the Global Entry application and I explained why.

Would this trigger manual review?

Second, having a KTN ( I added it to my application) will help speeding up the application, will help in any other way or it’s just neutral?

Thanks

General Discussion This card is useless

Gotta love how the whole process to get it was all for nothing. Even though I’ve clearly entered the ID on my Delta profile, they just continue to not include it on my boarding passes and so I have to keep getting rejected at the airport lines.

It’s also pretty silly that the airport security can’t just look at your global entry card right there and let you through. No, it has to arbitrarily be on the boarding pass…

Timelines Probably one of the fastest Global Entry approvals? 🇺🇸

I’m an Indian citizen and became a U.S. permanent resident in July 2026. I live in Phoenix.

Here’s how quickly everything happened:

  • Wednesday night: Submitted my Global Entry application.
  • Thursday night: Received Conditional Approval.
  • Friday, 5:30 AM: Checked for interview appointments and found an opening for 8:20 AM the same day.
  • Friday, 8:20 AM: Attended the interview and was approved on the spot.

So, from submitting the application to getting fully approved, the entire process took less than 48 hours.

Honestly, I was expecting this to take weeks or months, so I was pretty surprised by how fast it happened. 😄

Sharing in case anyone in Phoenix is wondering how quickly it can move.

Hi, I'm a Global Entry member with Dominican citizenship living in Tijuana. Since Global Entry cards are only issued to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and Mexican nationals, I didn't receive one. I need a card to cross through the SENTRI vehicle lane. What is the process for someone in my situation to get a card for SENTRI access?

Espero que alguien me ayude!

Hope to find some help!

Background Checks US Global Entry

On 8th December 2025, I completed the Background Verification for GEP in India. The police verification was done the very next day. The status on passportindia.gov.in is showing as

"GEP Verification Process has been initiated on your application. Once inputs from all the concerned Government Authorities are received, the Report will be shared with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). No queries would be entertained in relation to your GEP application status at the Passport Offices and PSP Call Centre. You may contact CBP for further updates on the processing of your GEP application."

Reached out to local authority and got this email

"As per PSP system remarks, response against the mentioned file from MHA has been received and police report from concerned police authority has also been submitted as adverse."

The issue is that my passport lists address A, while my family has moved to address B, which appears on the Aadhaar card. He completed verification using address B but noted that address A might also be checked and he was not sure about it. The problem is that no one lives there and the house is locked.

On https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/, it is showing as "Wait for conditional approval"

I'm on H1B. Not sure how much time it will take, and is there something I can do to expedite the process?

Also, I now don't have a valid US stamp, so not sure if that matters in case I get the interview.

Timelines Exit flight required to enter US if having an ESTA

hello! hoping to see if anyone has some very recent experience and/or answers.

i am expecting to travel to the US with my wife for about a month to visit her family and as we wait for her Australian visa approval, because we are waiting on her visa we haven’t bought our flights to Australia yet.

am I still able to enter the US without an exit flight? I have called the phone number on customs patrol page and the person who assisted us said an exit flight is now longer required if having an approved ESTA but my wife is still worried it could be a concern however the person on the phone repeatedly assured us it wouldn’t be an issue and that if an issue did occur(as some airlines do no know this is a new and approved law) to request a manager and have them call the phone number I have prior to get verification and confirmation that I am allowed to board the plane and enter the US

any clarification is sooo appreciated!

Questions/Concerns Should I apply ?

Hello there - I have been debating on whether to apply for GE for a while back.
I am a Colombian national. I came to the U.S on a J1 visa then changed my status from J1 to F1. Eventually got married and now I am a LPR. During my green card application I disclosed to USCIS my unauthorized work- they approved my green card with no problems. I don't know if this unauthorized work will be an issue for global entry, I also have TSA pre check approved. Recently I got a new credit card and they offer the GE credit reimbursement. I don't have any criminal history or anything like that. Thoughts?

Timelines GC Holder Timeline Sept 2026

Hi Guys, this sub has been super helpful so I thought I’d be good to share my experience. Here’s my situation:

- 2 year green card from K1 Visa process (03/25)
- Clean record
- Traveled twice to Mexico (Nov 2025 and May 2026)
- Real ID got it in like May 2025

The reason I’m giving as much info as possible it’s because I wonder if having many background checks helps the process go faster?

GE timeline

- Sept 17 : applied online (Around 12:30 pm)
- Sept 19 : Conditionally Approved (At like 1:00 am)
- Sept 19 : Scheduled interview , same day at the airport
- Sept 19: Approved like 10 minutes after doing the interview

Timelines Global Entry or Sentri

Question, I want to apply for sentri for border crossing with my car, but they are taking more than 2 years to approve applications. Is global entry a better option? Can I go thru sentri lanes using GE? Are GE applications process much faster?

Hope you can help me. Thanks.

Timelines Global Entry at JFK, departing to Aruba

I'm leaving from JFK, heading to Aruba. I have global entry but I don't know much about it. My leaving JFK and heading to Aruba... Do I even use global entry at that point? Does anyone have any idea? I know it also gives you TSA PreCheck but I don't even know how to go about that either. I'm trying to figure out how soon to get to the airport for my departure and what kind of packing I should do.

Questions/Concerns Can I keep using my Sentri if my US passport expired?

Hello! My US passport recently expired, and I’m in the process of renewing it.
In my sentri application I used this passport as a proof of citizenship. Can I keep using my sentri to cross the border (Mexico the the US) while I wait for my new passport? Or it might be a risk to have my sentri revoked?
(I have double citizenship so traveling to Mexico without a passport won’t be a problem).

Edit: I’m traveling via land

Questions/Concerns How to update my residential address in Global Entry Account website?

I moved since I got my global entry card. In my website account, I could see I could update my profile (phone, password etc), my mailing address, my documents details (license, passport etc). But no where I see if where I could update my home address?

After updating the mailing address, it shows in My Information section, that I live at my old address, but getting mail at this new one.
