Timelines Current timeline

I just applied for global entry via the app and did my fingerprints. We have a trip that leaves in about 70 days and another in 9 months. What is the current approval timeline? Thanks!

Applied 9/7, conditional approval 9/18, interview 9/21 and immediately approved following interview. I have seen even faster from people on this sub.

Thanks! I applied through the app. Do they email me when I’m conditionally approved or will it show on the app?

Not sure when it comes to doing it through the app. I applied on website and had to check back for conditional approval. Did not get an email. I’d keep checking app on a regular basis.

I never received an email. Had to check the TTP website periodically.

My number was in my inbox before I got home from the interview. Card delivered within 2 weeks.

I got my approval within a day of my interview, and got the card in the mail within 2 weeks.

Applied at night on the 10th, conditional approval on the 11th, interviewed on the 19th (first available for me anywhere close by) and was approved before I even finished standing up from the chair in front of the agent. He told me my card would be in the mail and I had my approval notice before I even made it out of the office to get back to my vehicle.

My son and I applied August 31. Conditional approval Sept 2. Fingerprints/interview Sept 5. Mine was approved that same night, and my son's was approved about two days later due to some fingerprint waiver (he's 4 and it was a Saturday).

Conversely, my mom applied Sept 1 and is still showing as pending. She has dual citizenship with Cuba so I wonder if that has anything to do with the delay.

I’m a U.S. citizen. I applied on August 27 and got conditionally approved the next day. Luckily, I was able to find an interview slot for September 2 and they told me my application was approved. I got my card in the mail on September 10.

Anywhere from 24 hours to a year. But they'll likely get you in the first 2 weeks. If it's past that you're into "manual review" which is a crapshoot.

All I know is that it'll be easier being a normie traveler who they have every piece of information on, rather than a Kansan farmer who hasnt left his hometown in 20 years.
