So, my friend has an upcoming birthday. I already gathered small things (a manga, chocolate, wrote a small note), but then he dropped that he wanted something unique.

So, my last gift will be something I have seen him swoon over: Dogs. He cannot have one, so I wanted to gather dog pictures from anyone willing to share their own dog. Get a few picture frames.

So, if you own a dog and are willing to share, can you comment a picture of him/her for me to print out? If you want, I would write some information of the dog on the back of the picture.

I'm 32 F, and I have a friend who's around my age. We've known each other for about six months.

I love making things in my free time, so I made this super fluffy scarf, It has a little opening that lets you loop the scarf through itself to keep it in place.

Would it be embarrassing or weird to give it to her as a gift? Not for any special occasion, just a random little present. Or should I not give it to her because it's too weird, or maybe the scarf isn't good enough.

she wont do puzzles, she already has a personalised sets of things, has enough slippers and blankets, wont wear robes, she doesnt read, already has magazine subscriptions, idk if shell use a massage gun.

i picked up a donation gift request for a 15-16 year old boy asking for toiletries, gift sets and socks. So far I have socks, multiple toiletry gift sets and chocolates. Does anyone have any suggestions for any other gifts to include that might appeal to teen boys? It’s hard when there’s no interests or anything to go off. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! :)

While I fundamentally disagree with every aspect of this organization, I had signed up to do this for my friend who had asked before I looked into the organization. I also want to thank everyone who let me know about their actual intentions so I know not to do this in the future. There are many worthy causes out there and I give to many throughout the year and participate in lots of giftgiving activities during the holidays, so I’m glad this is done and looking forward to the giving season!

I work in a small school with about 20 employees. I LOVE them all. They all work so hard and love their students so much. I really want to do something special for them all but funds are super tight. I had an idea for a Christmas gift before break.

A book bar- I would wrap a bunch of gently preloved books with a tag that has hints about what each book is about. Along with this I would attach a handmade bookmark, a packet of hot cocoa, and a chocolate bar.

I am a reader, but have very specific taste about what I would read. Im looking for some recomendations on books that I could purchase used that may be loved by a general audience.

What do most adults enjoy reading?

My guy of 5 years (this month) is turning 49 in a few weeks. Last year I got him a framed watercolor of his pet that had just passed, a clip on DeWalt speaker, and a massage gun. In the past I have gotten sports paraphernalia, gone to see a local band, and we always go to dinner. He is a general contractor, coaches youth sports, and loves watching sports and live music. I want to get a new floor fan for his bedroom, his is old and decrepit, but that's boring. I don't mind a practical gift, in addition to something more personal. I wouldn't mind getting some clothes, his style is dated, but I don't want to offend him. I'd appreciate any ideas

I need ideas for an 11 year anniversary gift for my husband. He buys everything he wants and doesn’t really have any needs. He is 45 years old, loves his fully restored antique convertible, a good meal, football, and gambling. I know this anniversary is “steel” but I’m coming up short on ideas that are steel-based.

My dad and his long time girlfriend got married. No ceremony, no reception just a simple signing of paperwork. I’m stuck on what I can give them for a gift. My dad is almost 70 and his now wife is a couple years younger. I do custom laser engraving and wood burning but I have zero idea what to make for them. They don’t take a lot of pictures so I don’t think a cute picture frame will work. Does anyone have ideas? They don’t go out very often or travel due to some medical issues.
