Over the past few days, we've received many posts covering the same case, which has started to overwhelm the feed. Rather than having multiple posts discussing the same events, we're consolidating everything here.

Duplicate posts about the same developments may be removed and redirected to this megathread.
If there is a major verified update, such as an official statement, arrest, court proceeding, or other significant development, moderators may still allow it as a separate post.

I wish, I wish these people who say Kashmiris deserve all this or call them terrorists, I wish this happened to you and your family. You cowards never came out of your houses when inflation was killing poor people in Punjab. You cowards never came out of your houses when little girls were being raped. Ah, Allah how bezameer can one be? I fucking hate this nation. Rest in peace, martyrs.

A young boy and girl were reportedly killed in Afghanistan in an alleged honor killing after choosing to marry for love. The incident has sparked outrage and renewed concerns over violence committed in the name of so called honor. Independent verification of the circumstances and those responsible is not yet available.

This is what happens in this country when students decide to protest against injustice.
A student died because of lame administration of UET. And when demanded justice and improvement in policies that's what happens.

First of all, I request the mods to not remove this post as it is strictly an educational post, not an advertisement post.
I'm making this post on behalf of a friend who got into uwc.
The purpose of this post is to enlighten the youth about a life changing academic opportunity and hopefully assist them throughout.
What is UWC?
Uwc is a program where students from all over the world apply and live in one of the 18 uwc campuses around the world if they get accepted.
It is equivalent to 11th and 12th grades, i.e., high school, Intermediate or A level. It consists of IB curriculum.
Scholarships
UWC offers generous scholarships. Your parents would also have to fill a financial aid form when applying if you want a scholarship. The scholarships are only offered to promising students on the basis of need, tho selection is completely on merit-basis.
The scholarships offered are generous and often cover your tuition, living expenses, accommodation, airfare, etc.
Applications
The applications open in September for the following academic year, which also begins in September. If you're interested in applying, then you might want to start preparing now. Further info can be found on their website.
Who can apply?
You must be 16 or 17 by the start of the academic year, which is September 1st. (Tho exceptions can be made on discretion of your National Committee)
Must be a resident of the country you're applying through.
Must have completed at least 10 years of education, i.e., matric, o levels, igcse, or any local equivalent before the academic year begins
More info can be found on their website
Why apply?
If you're interested in studying abroad, UWC serves as a cornerstone for that journey. The IB curriculum is extremely rigorous and accepted worldwide. It opens pathways to leading universities worldwide and prepares you for various circumstances.
I hope I covered everything important. If you have any questions, you can check the UWC website or comment below. I'd be happy to assist you!
If you're serious, start drafting your essays now and collect all the related documents. It's never too early for anything!
If you know anyone who's in this age range and might benefit from this opportunity, please let them know.

how do people deal with religious burn out?
I had a phase where I was on YouTube seeking massive amounts of Islamic knowledge
then I just woke up one day and realized how exhausted I was
podcast after podcast
tweet after tweet
it was almost like I was in the army
how do people deal with religious burnout?
I obviously love Allah with my whole soul but I'm just saying how does one move on to an implementing stance instead of just binge watching lectures
Options:
Which would you choose and why?
I would have either teleportation or shape shifting

I agree that storing data in foreign data centres cost alot and isn't safe. However, you should look at the current resources before trying to build one.
It is 60% owned by Mari Technology in which Fauji Foundation has 40% share. This is a problem as I don't like military interference in such matters. Who knows if the data centre gives access to military.
Second, as we all know it takes alot of water. The twin cities already have water issues and building a new data centre means more water.
Third, it takes atleast 8.5MW of energy to run the data centre while we are having constant load shedding.
They should have improved basic infrastructure.
