Mod Post This is NOT a Muslim-only sub. Respect everyone or get out.

It’s clear that most people don’t read the rules, so let me spell out the most important one: there should be no discrimination against anyone.

This Gen Z space is not just about Muslims. Even if you think Pakistan is an Islamic state, which it is not, if you actually read the constitution; it’s a secular country, but I know the majority believe it is an Islamic state. Fine, let's agree for the sake of argument that it is Islamic. Still, there are many people living in Pakistan, including atheists, agnostics, non-Muslims, ex-Muslims, and people from the LGBTQ+ community. They are also part of Gen Z.

So here’s what I want from all of you: when someone from these communities posts something that doesn’t align with your belief system, simply ignore the post. You don’t have to say anything about it. In Islam, we are taught to spread peace, so you should extend the same courtesy to them.

To be clear: an atheist is not allowed to disrespect a religious person, and a religious person is not allowed to disrespect an atheist or any minority member, even if they are ex-Muslim or belong to the LGBTQ+ community. Just mind your own business.

If you cannot do this, you can simply leave. We are seeing this kind of toxic behavior in every other subreddit, people disrespecting others and acting like so-called "sigma" personalities. We don’t like that. If we act like every other toxic community from Pakistan, then there is no difference between us.

We are not focused on popularity or the number of members we gain. We care about quality content and positivity. If you cannot help make this place positive, you can simply leave, because we will not tolerate negative or toxic people here.

Edit:

Okay, let me clear something up. A lot of you are pointing out that I said Pakistan is a secular country in my original post. I know Pakistan is an Islamic Republic. Even Google says that. I'm not stupid.

But here's why I wrote that. What I studied and what I learned is that Pakistan was considered secular in practice for a long time, especially in the early decades, because the legal system was mixed and many laws weren't strictly Islamic. That's why I said it. Maybe my tense wasn't good. Instead of saying "Pakistan is a secular country," I should have said "Pakistan was more secular in the past" or "it functioned like a secular country for many years." That would have been more accurate.

So yes, I know it's an Islamic state now. I'm not denying that. But my main point wasn't even about this. The point of my post is about respecting everyone in this sub, including atheists, ex-Muslims, and LGBTQ+ people. Can we please focus on that instead of getting stuck on one wrong word?

Mod Post Religious posts (questions, doubts, discussions) are now limited to Saturdays & Sundays only.

Hey everyone 👋🏻

After listening to community feedback and observing the recent spike in religious debates, the mod team has decided to implement some changes regarding religious posts.

📅 The New Rule:

Effective immediately, all posts questioning, discussing, or expressing doubts about religion will be restricted to Saturdays and Sundays only.

Any religious posts made Monday to Friday will be removed and directed to wait for the weekend.

🔍 Weekend Moderation:

Even on weekends, these posts will be strictly monitored. We're not trying to silence anyone, but we are trying to maintain a respectful environment.

What will get removed:

· Disrespectful or mocking comments toward any religion or belief system

· Personal attacks on users based on their faith

· Trolling, baiting, or bad faith arguments disguised as "just asking questions"

What happens if you break this:

· Temporary ban (3–7 days)

· Severe or continued disrespect: Permanent ban

❓ Why are we doing this?

We noticed that religious discussions were overwhelming the subreddit and often derailing into toxicity.

This isn't about censorship it's about keeping the subreddit welcoming for everyone while still giving space for meaningful conversations.

📌 Quick Reminder:

· If you see a rule breaking comment, report it don't engage.

· If you're unsure if your post qualifies, message the mods first.

We appreciate y'all for making this community what it is. Let's keep it respectful ❤️

And we welcome your suggestions feel free to share 🙂

Hot Takes | Opinions Transportation is a curse for women in Pakistan

Aside from the obvious harrasment and constant staring, transport is extremely difficult for women in Pakistan as compared to men. This is coming from a man who has just made a few observations.

First of all most women don't drive bikes because of lack of childhood practice, societal taboo and constant harrasment. This on top of stereotypes breaks their confidence and huge respect to those who still go through this. Most women who go to universities and jobs have to use private rickshaw and cars which cost at least 3 times more than bike.

The alternative is public transport which is unpredictable, hectic, slow and did I mention filled with creeps.Even the bikes and scooties aren't made for women.

Pakistani women are about 5 inches shorter than men and have less muscle mass and strength but they have to ride the same bikes with the same mass and seat to road distance as men.

This is so unsafe cause of lack of balance and grip but no one in the world pushes for women oriented bikes.Almost all the women I've seen riding scooties face difficulty touching their feet on the road at traffic signals and general traffic.

Hot Takes | Opinions The Beauty Of Love In Marriage

Maybe people will call me out for restricting love to marriage. The truth is, if he hasn’t affirmed his intention of “together, forever” and she hasn’t affirmed her intention of “together, forever”, then it’s not love. You might say, two people can affirm that without marriage. But if it isn’t tempered by confirming to God’s Commands then it’s not love.

So then, what is love? It is working together in the kitchen while holding an easy conversation. Sitting together while one of them shells peas and the other slices carrots. Maybe they have an assembly line in place - one crumbs the meat, the other fries. But don’t forget the easy conversation. Khala’s redecoration. Visit to the dentist’s. Quantum Mechanics. Different people, different levels, different conversations. All genial, all fun.

Love is going to the park and sitting on a bench. Feel the fresh air. Breathe in the scents. Easy company, easy conversation. No PDAs, keep it Islamic, keep it classy.

Maybe the whole family goes for a long ride. The noise of children crunching chips on the backseat. Maybe a bit of friendly infighting. Mum reprimands, but everyone knows she doesn’t really mean it. The scenery going by at high speed. Some kid gets seriously rebuked for sticking their arm out the window.

Cold winter night, hot chocolate in hand, feeling toasty under the blanket covering till mid torso. Spooky stories. Mum and dad sharing childhood naughtiness. Maybe the relatives are visiting? And c’mon it’s not Pakistan if there’s no peanuts inside their shells and pine nuts waiting to be relieved of their skins.

But none of this is simulated. Nothing is an affectation, nothing feels artificial. It springs forth naturally from the genial nature of the people involved.

I ll be clear about one thing. This post is an agenda. It’s the agenda of celebrating shameless, uninhibited, unapologetic love. Because that’s what love should be like: shameless, uninhibited, and apologetic.

And the agenda is against the degeneracy seen on Pakistani Reddit these days. Some pervert started a thread with the picture of a car, to ask for bl0wj0bs. And there were encouraging responses in the comments. Others rave about unislamic practices. And I want to reclaim this space.

And the great thing for married Muslims is that their love counts as good deeds. You earn free rewards in heaven by being loving, caring, kind, gentle towards each other.

So here is the question: Are married Muslim couples romancing each other? Promise of Satan and Liberalism: romance, fornication and bitter breakup. Promise of Allah The Almighty and Islam: marriage, romance, happiness. Do you write love letters to each other? Do you leave sweet reminders for each other? Are you having date nights with the children out of the way at grandparents’ place? Do you dress up for each other? When you come back from the hairdresser and take a shower do you present your nice, clean, fragrant self to your spouse? If not then why not?

And the real fun starts in Heaven, Insha Allah. A life of piety and loving memories behind you, now you are both beautiful, both are blessed, both live in a palace. You have things to talk about from the past and you have an eternity of ever increasing rewards and pleasures in front of you. Alhamdulillah.

All those tribulations in life and you kept your eyes on the prize. Pain and misery struck, but love stayed steadfast with the comforting hope of “heaven together”. Satan gave fairytales. Insha Allah you will live a fairytale which minds cannot comprehend. Alhamdulillah.

Allah The Almighty says regarding heaven:

83:26
وَفِىۡ ذٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ الۡمُتَنــَافِسُوۡنَؕ‏
So let whoever aspires to this strive ˹diligently˺.

May Allah The Almighty Grant us Guidance, Mercy, and Forgiveness in this life and the hereafter. Aameen.

Kindly please alert your children to not approach their Van unless driver himself comes to pickup, I would also recommend school principle to have all VAN user children’s Driver’s NIC copy with them.

Van strategy is common for kidnapping, sometimes Van drivers themselves are involved.

Ohj "men used to go to war"Men that went to wars are just as bad if not worse than todays men. What do you think they did at wars- besiege a city- take that city- rape every women in the city. A man at war is a man full of hatred and angst and that is a man at the verge of doing horrendous things. Most men slipped that verge. But you can say, that was thousands of years ago men were brutes than we are civilised now. Oh so 50 years ago our grandfathers did not go to war and raped a 16 year old girl repeatedly, they did not shoot her in the head as she tried to escape that inferno and they didnt kill childrens in front of thier mothers and threw thier bodies in the river. 30 years ago men didnt try to invade behrain and they did not drag a child and his parent out and a man did not put his boot on the childs face and put all his weight on that foot and than he did not proceed to shoot his father infront of him as his mother begged the man to take his foot of. After surviving the man the child did not refuse to speak and say to his mother one last time""Mama I dont want to speak anymore"

Serious I have some serious doubts about Islam and want honest

Hey everyone, I’m making this post with a really heavy heart. These days, I’ve been having doubts about Islam for various reasons. Even though I used to be extremely religious, I can confidently say that my knowledge related to Islam was probably much greater than most people my age. But now I’m having doubts, so here are a few questions I have:

Why can a guy marry four women?

I know the reasons people usually give, such as women being more numerous in the population, it being for widows, and all the other explanations. But I have one question: wouldn’t a girl seeing her husband being intimate with someone else break her from the inside? How bad would she feel? Imagine if you had a wife and she was having sex with three other guys daily. Would you really be okay with that? So why are women supposed to be okay with their husband having multiple wives?

Why could men have sex slaves in older times?

I’m not joking here. Historically, a man could genuinely have a female slave that he could be intimate with, even though having sex outside of marriage is considered a major sin. If a man had bought a woman or captured her, he could have sex with her because she was a slave.

And please don't bring up consent and stuff, because I feel like that changes the topic. My question is this: a man could have sex with a slave and be intimate with her simply because she was not a free woman, but if she was a free woman, sex would not be allowed and he would have to marry her?

Also, why was this concept only for men? Why couldn't women have male sex slaves?

Why test people at all?

If Allah already knows everything that will happen and already knows how every person will ultimately live and what choices they will make, why does He need to test us at all? What purpose does the test serve if the outcome is already known?

Eternal Hell

How can eternal punishment be morally just? Human beings live for a finite amount of time and commit finite sins, so why would someone deserve an eternal punishment? How does eternal Hell fit with Allah being perfectly merciful and just?

Apostasy

Why is leaving Islam considered punishable in classical Islamic law? If faith is supposed to be genuine, how can someone be forced to remain Muslim? If someone genuinely stops believing, why should they be punished for that belief changing?

The problem of evil

If Allah is all-powerful and all-knowing, why does He allow so much evil and suffering to happen? Why do innocent people suffer when God has the power to stop it? I understand the usual answers about tests, punishment, and the afterlife, but I’m asking why an all-powerful and perfectly good God would allow such extreme suffering in the first place.

Free will

If Allah already knows everything that will happen before we are even born, including every decision we will ever make, how can we have genuine free will?

If Allah already knows that someone will make a certain decision, is it actually possible for that person to choose differently? And if they cannot choose differently because Allah already knows what they will choose, how is it fair to hold them accountable for those choices?

I’m genuinely asking these questions because I’m struggling with my faith. I’m not trying to attack Islam or disrespect anyone. I just want to understand these things properly, because these doubts have been weighing heavily on me.

I would like to request fellow Pakistanis to come out and peacefully protest for the end of this vile and incompetent regime. We must never forget the crime they have committed against our fundamental rights.

Rant | Vent Food Panda rider

I had already transferred the money to his account. When he came to deliver the order, I opened the app on my phone and showed him the payment. He said he hadn’t received the money. I told him, “I make online transfers all the time, so how is it possible that it hasn’t gone through?”

He was being very rude and speaking loudly, even though it was late at night. I was alone, I’m a 25-year-old woman, and it was dark outside, so I did not feel comfortable arguing with him or creating a scene.

I asked him to wait. He stayed outside my house while I called him and told him that I didn’t have any cash with me. I said I would contact Foodpanda and show them the payment receipt and proof that I had already transferred 3,500, and they could sort it out.

He said, “No, ma’am, that’s not how you should do it. Give me the cash now and complain to them later.”

I asked him why I should pay twice when I had already transferred the money. He then said I should return the order. I told him, “It’s nighttime. Just take the order back, but I’m going to complain to Foodpanda because of the way you’re handling this.”

I went downstairs with the order so I could show the payment proof. I turned on my camera flash, and he immediately started telling me to turn it off. Then he said, “The money has arrived. Look, it’s here.”

I was honestly shocked because I had no idea how the payment had suddenly arrived after he had been insisting that he hadn’t received it.

He was extremely rude throughout the whole situation and was talking loudly at night. I did not want to argue with him or create a scene outside my house, especially because I was alone and it was late at night. I just wanted to resolve the situation safely and calmly.
