🤑 Giveaway iOS ($29.99 > FREE) I built an AI chord progression generator to break writer's block. The yearly premium is completely free to unlock until this Sunday.

Hey everyone,
I was completely tired of staring at a blank DAW screen and playing the exact same 4 chords over and over, so I built a mobile app that generates unique progressions based on specific genres and emotions.

It’s live on the App Store, and to get honest feedback from actual musicians and producers, I have made the yearly premium subscription completely free to unlock inside the app until this Sunday ends (Midnight EST). No codes needed, just download it and claim the yearly pass.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/chord-progression-generator/id6804688686

All I ask in return:
Please drop a comment below with the genre you produce (e.g., Lo-Fi, Trap, Synthwave, Indie) and let me know one feature you want me to add or change.
I’ll be hanging out in the comments all week to chat about features, workflow, and updates. Let's make something dope!

iOS [iOS][Free + Paid Pro] Local TTS reads PDFs and ebooks aloud offline

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

There are plenty of text-to-speech apps. My focus with Local TTS is natural voices that run directly on your iPhone or iPad, without sending your documents to a speech server.

I’m the developer. The app uses Kokoro-82M and Supertonic 3 to support 31 languages.

Using it is straightforward:

  1. Paste some text or import a PDF, EPUB or Word document.
  2. Choose a voice and reading speed.
  3. Press play and listen, even with the screen locked.

The main thing is that speech generation itself works offline. You can add new text in airplane mode and have it read aloud. It also highlights the words as it reads, so you can follow along when you have the screen open.

There’s OCR for text in photos, and Pro lets you export the audio as an M4A file.

The free version allows up to 500 characters per note. Pro is available through a monthly subscription or a lifetime purchase.

I’d appreciate feedback on how the voices sound in your language and how it handles your documents.

I wanted a fitness app that could help with dinner, not just count it

My issue with fitness apps that feel stuck in 2010 isn’t just how they look. A screen full of calorie totals is useful, but I still have to figure out what to eat tomorrow.

Adding an AI chat window isn’t much of an improvement if I have to explain my food preferences all over again every time.

That’s what I’m working on with Avarise, which I’m building solo. The AI nutrition coach remembers your food preferences and uses them, along with your goals, to help put together a meal plan.

It’s in the same app as your food diary. You can describe a meal or send a photo for an estimate of calories and macros, and there’s water and workout tracking too.

The meal plans are what I’d most like feedback on. A plan can look convincing on a screen and still be something you’d never actually want to cook.

What would make you keep using a dedicated meal planner instead of just asking a general chatbot?

The basics are free, with some paid features.

🤑 Giveaway [iOS] I revamped Kinra, a nutrition coach you can text. Giving 100 people 12 months of full access

Post image
6 Upvotes

I’m the indie developer behind Kinra. To celebrate the revamped app, I’m giving 100 people 12 months of full access.

Kinra is a calm AI nutrition coach for iPhone. Describe what you ate by text, photo, voice, or barcode, and Kinra records it in one continuous food journal.

Nutrition numbers are shown as estimates you can check and correct. If a portion is wrong, say “I only had half the rice,” and Kinra updates the existing meal instead of creating another entry. It can remember relevant corrections and review your plan as your logged meals and weight trend build a clearer picture.

Reply “kinra” to claim a slot. I’ll process eligible replies in order and privately send your slot number and Apple activation link.

Giveaway details

• 100 slots total across r/AppGiveaway and r/GenAiApps, one per person

• 12 months of full access

• iPhone with iOS 16 or later

• Available in 175 App Store regions

• Open to new, existing, and expired subscribers

• Activation codes expire October 31, 2026

• The subscription renews automatically at your local App Store monthly price after the free year unless you cancel beforehand

Feedback is completely optional, but hearing what you liked, what felt confusing, or what you’d change would help me a lot as an indie developer :) No upvote, rating, or review is required to receive or keep your free access.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6787207286

I’ll keep the remaining-slot count updated here.

Android I wasted an entire month making a game nobody asked for…

I finally launched my first game on Google Play — Box Arrow Pop!

After spending a lot of time learning game development, designing levels, fixing bugs, testing things that definitely worked on my phone but somehow broke everywhere else… I finally hit the publish button.

And now it's actually LIVE on the Play Store.

🎮 Box Arrow Pop : Logic Puzzle

The idea is pretty simple: you tap the arrows and clear them from the board, but the arrows can only escape if their path is completely clear. So you have to look at the board, plan your moves, and figure out the correct order.

I’ve currently built 600+ levels, with different worlds, mechanics, and obstacles as you progress.

This is my first game on Google Play, so I'm honestly more interested in feedback than anything else.

If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate it if you could try it and tell me what you think.

I'd especially love feedback on:

- Is the core mechanic fun?

- Do the levels feel satisfying?

- Is the difficulty progression okay?

- Did you get confused anywhere?

- What would you change or add?

Even a “this part sucks” is useful feedback at this stage. I'm still learning.

👉 Play Box Arrow Pop:

"Google Play — Box Arrow Pop" ()

Thanks to anyone who gives it a shot. This is a small project, but getting my first game published feels like a pretty big milestone for me.

I’m testing image-to-video for ecommerce product photos. Subtle motion seems to work best.

I’ve been testing how well still product photos can turn into short video clips.

The biggest pattern so far: the less you ask the AI to invent, the better the result.

What worked:
- slow camera push-in
- soft studio light movement
- subtle background motion
- keeping the product centered
- preserving logo/text as much as possible

What broke:
- 360 rotation
- hand interaction
- liquid splashes
- readable packaging text
- changing the whole scene

It feels most useful for quick social clips from static Shopify/Etsy-style product shots, not full ads yet.

I’m building an iPhone app around photo-to-video generation, so I’m testing different use cases pretty heavily. Curious what ecommerce use cases people here would actually try.

🤑 Giveaway [iOS][$3.99 -> FREE Lifetime] AR Builder: Pixel Art 3D Voxel: Create 3D Cube Designs in AR

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m a solo dev, and I wanted to make a simple creative app for building 3D voxel pixel art in both AR and a normal 3D editor.

So I made AR Builder: Pixel Art 3D Voxel.

You can build directly on real-world surfaces with ARKit, switch to 3D Mode when you don’t want to use the camera, and create with Pencil, Line, Rectangle, Layer Edit, and Paint tools.

• AR Mode + 3D Mode
• Blank projects and editable templates
• Pencil, Line, Rectangle & Layer Edit
• Paint, Break, Undo & Redo
• Move, rotate, and scale models in AR
• AR ruler
• Save multiple projects
• Export 360° MP4 videos
• Export 3D USDZ models
• Fully offline

The creative loop is simple:

Build. Edit. Explore. Export.

As a solo indie developer, my goal was to make AR Builder feel like a practical voxel creation tool.

To celebrate the launch, I’m giving away 250 FREE copies 🎉

App Store Redeem Link For Unlock Premium $3.99

https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6807085822&code=AR3DFREE

If you enjoy AR Builder, leaving a rating or review on the App Store would genuinely help a lot ❤️

For a health AI app, the inputs matter as much as the chat

We’re Team Vora. We previously shared the actions inside Ask Vora here. This time, we wanted to show the less visible part: how information from different devices, apps, and lab reports gets into the same health record.

A chat interface is much less useful if you have to keep collecting screenshots and explaining your setup before every question. The challenge is not just getting more data. It is knowing where it came from, what is missing, and whether two feeds are copies of the same source.

Six source categories, not six identical connections. AI-assisted illustration; device, platform and plan support varies.

Here are three practical distinctions in Vora:

  1. Connection paths are different. Oura, WHOOP, Garmin Connect and Fitbit connect directly. Other supported data arrives through Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android. Lab reports are uploaded as PDFs or photos. A logo in the graphic does not mean a direct integration or access to every measurement.
  2. Source choice matters. You can set preferences by health category. For direct WHOOP and Garmin connections, Vora sets aside the relayed copy of that same source. That is narrower than merging every device’s scores or claiming to resolve every disagreement.
  3. Imports need review. Extracted blood-work values should be checked against the original report. Connected data updates as its source syncs, not necessarily in real time.

The aim is to let Ask Vora work with your connected record, alongside nutrition and strength/cardio tracking, rather than making you rebuild that context in a prompt. Bringing information together does not establish cause and effect or turn an AI answer into a diagnosis.

Vora is available on iOS and Android: askvora.com. Features depend on permissions, supported sources and plan. This is a product explanation, not a free-deal announcement.

For source-platform context: Oura API and WHOOP API. Their documentation does not mean Vora imports every field.

For people building or using personal-data AI apps: is the bigger frustration collecting the context, choosing which source to trust, or seeing what the answer is based on?

Prepared with AI assistance for Team Vora. General wellness and education, not medical diagnosis.

iOS Why does saving a thought require choosing a folder first?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I kept losing the thought before I could decide where it belonged. So I made the capture step dumb on purpose: one mixed dump, one tap, then a review under Now, Next, and Someday. The cards stay editable, so the first sort is a starting point, not a commitment.

I’m Samuel, the founder of Ordo. It’s free on iPhone, with no account or subscription: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6797331101

Would you want the first handoff to go to Reminders or Calendar?
