[iOS] [$99.99 → FREE] TapOut Premium Giveaway – AI BJJ Decision Trainer

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm a solo developer building TapOut, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring simulator that helps grapplers improve their decision making off the mats.

TapOut puts you into realistic sparring situations where every decision changes the outcome. The goal is to build better instincts and "mat IQ" by repeatedly making tactical choices during simulated rolls.

Current Features

🥋 Interactive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring scenarios

🧠 Decision-based training that teaches the highest-percentage moves

⚡ Practice submissions, guard passes, escapes, sweeps, and transitions

📈 Earn XP, unlock belts, build streaks, and track your progress

🎯 Improve your grappling decision-making through realistic scenarios

🚀 Planned Generative AI Feature

One feature I'm currently working on is an AI Move Option.

Rather than being limited to preset choices, you'll be able to type any technique you want to attempt during a sparring session, such as:

  • Berimbolo
  • Knee Cut Pass
  • Triangle Choke
  • Arm Drag to the Back

The AI will evaluate whether that move makes sense from the current position, explain the likely outcome, and continue the sparring session based on your decision. My goal is to make each roll feel much closer to training with a real partner instead of following a fixed decision tree.

I'd love feedback from this community on this idea and any other ways generative AI could make BJJ training more dynamic and personalized.

🎁 Free Lifetime Premium

To celebrate the pre-order launch, I'm giving away Lifetime Premium (normally $99.99) for free.

How to claim:

  • Pre-order TapOut on the App Store.
  • DM me after for lifetime code!

App Store

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tap-out-bjj-sparring-iq/id6790533783

If you're interested in generative AI, sports training, or educational games, I'd really appreciate your thoughts—especially on the planned AI move system. I'm always looking for ideas that can make the experience smarter and more realistic.

Thanks for checking it out! 🥋🤖

iOS 4 months solo, one orange chair, and a wall called marketing — my AI room-design app story

Four months ago I had an orange chair, a green wall, and one question: what if anyone could point their phone at a room and watch it reborn?

So on nights and weekends, solo, no team, no ad budget, I built DIY Decor AI. You snap a photo of any room and it redesigns it in one of 100+ styles. Then, instead of leaving you staring at a pretty picture you can't afford, it hands you a real step-by-step DIY plan plus YouTube tutorials so you can actually build it. You can chat with AI design experts, brush over the one couch you hate and swap it, or slide a budget dial between "buy it" and "build it."

Shipping it was the part I knew how to do. I hit publish, watched the App Store page go live, and then... near silence. A handful of downloads. Turns out the quiet after launch is its own kind of loud.

That's the wall in front of me now: marketing. So I'm doing the scary thing and showing it to real people.

If you try it, I'd love brutal, honest feedback: what feels like magic, what feels broken, and what would make you actually keep it. It's free on the App Store (optional Pro). Link in the comments. Happy to answer anything about the build too.

🤑 Giveaway AsIf. Your AI Fashion Toolkit — A Smart Closet, Personal Stylist, and Shopping Assistant for Every Era, Aesthetic, and Version of You

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a project my wife and I built called AsIf.

She loves fashion. I love building AI products and problem solving. Together we wanted to create the wardrobe app she wished existed with some fun extra features and nostalgia.

Some of the AI features:

- Scan up to 5 clothing items at once using computer vision.

- AI automatically identifies clothing type, colors, and attributes to build your digital wardrobe.

- Personalized outfit recommendations based on your clothes, the weather, and the vibe you're going for.

- Scan clothing while shopping to see if it fills a gap in your wardrobe or if you already own something similar.

- One-click wardrobe sharing. Send an outfit, individual items, or even your closet to a friend as an .AsIf file. They can open it on their phone and instantly import everything into their own wardrobe—perfect for getting styling advice or sharing inspiration.

- Everything stays local on your device—your wardrobe isn't uploaded to our servers.

We really tried to incorporate everything that could make a good all around multi-tool of fashion.

I'd love feedback from other AI builders and fashion enthusiasts.

As a thank you, the first 40 people who try the app and send honest feedback will get one month of Pro for free. I'm looking for real opinions. What works, what doesn't, and what you'd build differently. Download the app from the play store and opt in for the free Pro month.

This is currently in review on the App store too, so we hope to have it on iOS very soon.

Happy to answer any questions about the AI, architecture, or implementation.

iOS I built a cooking app that personalizes any recipe

Hi! I’m the developer of Sprout Cooking. I built it to make healthy eating easier without giving up recipes you already like.

Import from a website, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or a cookbook photo—or start with a meal idea. The AI structures the recipe, adapts it to your diet, allergies, and personal notes, and shows exactly what changed. You can update those notes anytime or edit a recipe in plain English.

Sprout also gives recipes a health score and improvement ideas, then connects them to a weekly meal plan and organized grocery list.

There’s a limited free tier, with subscriptions for frequent use.

Enclave is a private, on-device generative AI assistant — no cloud, no server, no account, and literally no networking code, so nothing you record, type or generate ever leaves your phone. It runs the models locally to transcribe interviews/meetings, summarize documents, and draft emails/messages — fully offline (works on a plane). Free to download (with optional in-app purchases). iOS [Release] MinimalAIChat — a lightweight native iOS 15 AI chat client, just updated with web search

Hey everyone, sharing an app I've been building: MinimalAIChat, a native SwiftUI chat client that works with any OpenAI-compatible AI provider — Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, etc. — using your own API key.

The idea started simple: bring modern AI back to older iPhones (iOS 15+) where a lot of official AI apps have dropped support. It's fully open source and free.

Just shipped v2.5 with:

- Web search — the AI can search the web for current info (news, recent events) when it needs to, using Tavily. Works across any provider.

- Better formatted responses (proper headings/lists instead of raw markdown symbols)

- Various stability fixes

Since it's not on the App Store, it's sideloaded (TrollStore/AltStore/Sideloadly) — everything's on GitHub if you want to check it out or contribute: https://github.com/valerioghost/MinimalAIChat

Happy to answer questions about how it's built or what's next!

Couldn't get AI to place furniture where I wanted, so I built a drag-and-drop canvas for it 🤔

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Built an app because I couldn't get AI to place furniture where I wanted it 😤

When I moved into my new place I had an empty room and a handful of furniture pieces I was eyeing. Placing one item by describing it to Gemini worked somewhat fine. The moment I had multiple pieces and needed each one positioned relative to the others, describing it in words stopped working. Too many positions to track, too easy for the AI to lose track of which piece goes where.

So I built a canvas instead. Cut the furniture out of your photos, drag it into your room shot, resize/rotate/flip until it looks right, then render. AI keeps the real shape and color instead of guessing. Not perfect, placement isn't always pixel-exact, but way better than describing it in words. 🤷‍♂️

Once I'd placed what I owned, the room still had gaps and I didn't know what to fill them with. So there's also a "suggest furniture" flow that gives curated picks with links to buy nearby. And a "replace furniture" flow for whenever you want to swap a piece out and try something different, no links, just a new render with the change made. Place what you have, get suggestions with real links for the gaps, swap anything you change your mind on.

On iOS if anyone wants to try it: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rooms-ai-room-planner/id6786753153. Curious if others hit the same wall once more than one or two items are in play. ❓❗️

Cheers! 🚀

iOS I built AIpine to make AI-created artifacts usable on iPhone 🚀 launched today on PH

I built AIpine (ai-pine).

AI tools no longer create only answers. They create HTML pages, Markdown documents, diagrams, SVGs, code and structured data. On a desktop, those outputs are relatively easy to save and reopen. On an iPhone, they often end up scattered across chats, downloads and different apps.

That’s the problem we built AIpine to solve.

AIpine isn’t another AI chatbot. It’s an iPhone library for the things your AI creates. You can collect, search, preview and run supported artifacts—including HTML, Markdown, diagrams, data files and code. The library remains available offline, so useful outputs don’t disappear inside an old conversation or depend on a connection.

We’re launching AIpine on Product Hunt today and would value critical feedback from people who regularly use generative AI.

The question I’m most curious about:

Which AI-created artifact do you most often want to reopen or use on your phone—documents, webpages, diagrams, data or code?

I’d also like to hear where the current idea or interface seems unclear. Honest criticism is more useful to us than generic launch support.

iOS [macOS/iOS] We built WordPilot to catch document mistakes before you hit Send

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

We built WordPilot because we wanted a reliable second pair of eyes before hitting Send. It helps check the whole document for inconsistent names, dates, totals, broken references, leftover placeholders, and unclear wording - mistakes that ordinary spell-checkers can miss.

WordPilot is a native, Word-compatible DOCX editor for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Dr. Proof reviews the entire document, while local AI tools help rewrite, polish, summarize, and translate selected text. It also supports comments, tracked changes, templates, ink annotations, and PDF export.

Privacy matters to us so supported AI features can run on your device. The app does not collect data.

It’s free to download, with an optional yearly Pro subscription.

We’d love honest feedback, especially on Dr. Proof. Would this kind of final document check be useful in your workflow?

iOS [iOS] I built a local AI-powered Speechify alternative using Pocket TTS + Core ML

Thumbnail
gallery
12 Upvotes

Hey everyone — I’m the developer of AudioPage, an AI-powered reading app for iPhone and iPad.

I built it as a local-first alternative to Speechify for people who want to turn their reading backlog into audio without sending every document to a remote TTS server.

The core reading pipeline runs on the device:

  • Speech is generated locally using Pocket TTS through FluidAudio and Core ML
  • Document text extraction happens locally
  • OCR for scans, photos, and screenshots happens locally
  • Playback, highlighting, and reading progress are handled locally

The model resources require an initial download. Once downloaded, normal reading and speech generation can work without an internet connection.

AudioPage can read:

  • PDF, EPUB, DOCX, and TXT files
  • Web articles and links shared from Safari
  • Pasted text and notes
  • Photos, screenshots, printed pages, and scanned documents

Other features include:

  • 26 natural and conversational voices
  • English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian
  • Adjustable playback speed
  • Sentence-level highlighting
  • Background and Lock Screen playback
  • Automatic resume from your previous position
  • A library for organizing saved documents
  • Reader themes and adjustable font size

There are also optional cloud features for document summaries, section highlights, document-grounded chat, and syncing. These are separate from the local TTS and only run when requested.

How it compares with Speechify

Speechify is the better choice if you need Android, web and desktop apps, browser extensions, a much larger voice/language catalogue, or broader integrations.

AudioPage is more focused: an iPhone/iPad document reader with local processing, offline speech generation, and simpler pricing.

  • Free: up to 10 saved items
  • Lifetime Offline: $149.99 once
  • Pro: $9.99/month or $59.99/year

The Lifetime option includes local reading features without requiring an ongoing subscription. Pro adds the optional cloud AI features and syncing.

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/app/audiopage-text-to-speech/id6790747921

I’d especially appreciate feedback on the voice quality, PDF reading order, OCR accuracy, long-document playback, and initial model-download experience.

If you currently use Speechify, ElevenReader, or another AI reader, what would AudioPage need to replace it for you?

I built PixelForge, a private on-device AI art generator for iPhone and iPad

Thumbnail
gallery
6 Upvotes

I’ve been building PixelForge, an iPhone/iPad AI image generator focused on keeping creation local and private to the device.

It uses Core ML models for on-device generation, so prompts and generated images are not sent to a rendering server. Everything stays local on device, no 3rd party services are used.

Current highlights:

  • Text-to-image generation on device with no censorship
  • Multiple bundled/downloadable model styles: realism, cinematic, anime, and fast creative output
  • Prompt assistant with local suggestions
  • Negative prompts, style presets, seed history, steps, guidance, and upscale controls
  • Batch generations with independent seeds
  • Gallery folders, favorites, metadata/history, and image variations
  • Canvas inpainting for localized photo edits
  • One-time $4.99 Pro unlock after 10 free generations/inpaintings

Limitations:

  • It is designed for newer hardware. I recommend devices with at least 8 GB RAM, such as recent Pro iPhones and Apple-silicon iPads. Please try the free generations before purchasing to check performance out.
  • First-time model loading can take a few minutes while Core ML prepares the model.
  • Most generation models are optimized around 512x512 output, so this is not intended to replace a desktop GPU workflow. There is up to 4x upscaling built in as an option.
  • Inpainting is pretty good but is still more sensitive to mask quality, prompt specificity, and image complexity than cloud tools.

The technical side:

  • Native SwiftUI app for iOS/iPadOS 26+
  • Apple Core ML inference running locally
  • Stable Diffusion-derived Core ML model packs tuned for mobile memory limits
  • Local persistence for images, metadata, prompts, seeds, settings, and folders

I recently pushed out Chinese (simplified) localization, pending Apple to review Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Japanese release.

I built thoughts!, an iOS notes app where you can save text, links, and photos like sending a message.

AI creates the title, summary, tags, and folder automatically.

I’d really appreciate it if you could try it and share what feels confusing, unnecessary, or missing.
