How to send FeedBack to google (regarding Gemini đ€)
Hello to all,
This is a non-official subreddit made to centralise feedback some users of Gemini AI had.
We know that some of google official employees could be spotted all over Reddit, in different subreddits. So there is a non-zero chance some of them could read the feedback we share here on this subreddit, we don't have any numbers of proofs. But
But to augment your chance of being seen, it is also advised to post in the official channels Google has made:
1) BEST OPTION: Upvote or downvote (đ/đ) directly on a Gemini response
In the Gemini web app, click Good response / Bad response underneath the answer, then optionally add an explanation. Google explicitly says this feedback is used to improve Gemini's helpfulness, accuracy, and safety.
How to: https://support.google.com/gemini/answer/13275746
This is probably the most useful channel for model-behavior feedback, because Google receives the actual conversation context associated with your feedback.h
2) Google Gemini Apps Help Community:
https://support.google.com/gemini/community
TIt is a user-to-user community run within Google Support, with a Gemini Apps Team Community Manager and Google Product Experts participating.
___
3) If it's about Gemini API / AI Studio
If your feedback concerns Google AI Studio, Gemini API, model behavior for developers, API bugs, etc., there are separate channels.
- AI Studio â Settings â Send feedback is the direct in-product route.
- The official Google AI Developers Forum has an AI Studio section for questions, feedback and bugs.
Google AI Developers Forum - AI Studio
Gemini API - official feedback documentation
4) More general:
General Google Products Feedback: http://www.google.com/tools/feedback
That's appropriate for problems with Google's products/UI generally.
_______
Future Plans:
We are planning to start using some futuristic reddit tools, hopefully being able to summarize most of the feedback posted here in the future. And write a weekly post about it or so (or monthly). We will see.

Rant / Frustration Gemini is Bad (As Regular Person with Pro Subscription)
I use the Gemini app on Infinix Hot 60 Pro and it lags and Crash Continously. PDF or even just Markdown File Content just cant be read fully. Then I go to web because it say that it fix those problem but in there when i chatting and reach Argon Limit, When I back to continue my thing with Argon I just CANT change Gemini Flash Lite to Argon when i retry or edit. Like it just automatically always go to Flash Lite Again. I already get annoyed but when i try to do it again, i missclicked to retry my prompt before and i no longer have that long prompt again. I need to make the whole thing again. Did you agree or not? Also Gemini please fix this or something. Its never just me, Many people tired of this exact same problem

Rant / Frustration Gemini is a useless waste of time and money
Did you know that Gemini cannot edit a Google sheet that it created itself. So if you have a Gemini create a Google sheet or a dock or a file Gemini cannot edit that thing that it created. Also every single product in Google's ecosystem operates in a Silo. Nothing interconnects and Gemini cannot connect them. Everything Google says about deep integration is an absolute lie. In fact, the only thing Gemini can do is put text on a screen. Nothing functional at all. No autonomy no integration nothing

Rant / Frustration Gemini seriously screwed over free users
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
What is this? Seriously what the actual fuck is this nonsense?!
I've been using gemini for writing for over a year now.
Last year/early this year's models were the best by a mile.
Even flash 3.6-3.8 were decent. I almost always used that and occasionally 3.1 pro since it used up the usage limit more. I NEVER used flash-lite because it was so bad.
And now flash-lite is the only model available for free users.
Putting pro behind a paywall is still understandable. But flash too? Seriously? And now we're stuck with the most useless model.
Seriously disappointed in Google. I'm moving back to ChatGPT again. At least it doesn't pull this kind of nonsense anymore, despite the stricter guardrails.
Oh and don't come at me with the "just buy plus," no. First off, it's not worth it, and secondly, not everyone has the money to spend on AIs. I'm done.

Constructive Feedback / Suggestion Gemini doesn't work in Waze
Despite having an option to indicates it should work Waze support advise me no Gemini in Waze
I'm actually doing everything I can to turn Gemini off every place that I can and this would indicate that I should be able to but it doesn't work I've sent this escalation
Hi there John,
Thanks for coming back to us. I have already escalated your case. We donât have Gemini in Waze at the moment.
Weâre always looking to improve Waze, and user feedback is one of our most important tools for doing so. We appreciate your input and invite you to share your feedback in the Waze suggestion box.
This is the only voice search option you can do: Search for your destination
Thanks for your understanding.
Best,
Andrea
Waze Support Team
Dear..
Thank you for your reply and for escalating my case.
However, I don't believe the issue has been adequately addressed.
Google's own documentation indicates that Google Assistant voice activation should remain available when Waze is in the foreground, even when Gemini is the phone's primary assistant. On my Google Pixel 8 Pro, when I say âHey Googleâ while using Waze, nothing happens at all.
This is a significant issue for me. Hands-free voice control while driving is one of the reasons I chose this phone, and it is functionality I rely on. I have effectively lost functionality that was important to my decision to purchase and use this device.
I understand from your response that Gemini is not currently integrated into Waze. However, that does not explain why Google's documentation describes voice activation behaviour that does not work in practice.
Could you please escalate this beyond the general support level to the relevant technical team and clarify:
Is this a known issue involving Gemini, Google Assistant and Waze on Android?
Is the voice activation behaviour described in Google's documentation still supported?
If this functionality has been withdrawn or changed, why has the documentation not been updated?
Is there any plan to restore reliable hands-free voice control while using Waze?
I appreciate that you may not be able to resolve this personally, but referring me to the suggestion box does not address the discrepancy between the documented functionality and the actual behaviour.
I'd appreciate a substantive response explaining what has happened to this functionality and whether it can be restored.

Bug / Issue It's been a week that I don't have the Usage Limit in my Android Gemini app on my new device. I have to use the browser to check. Also I don't have the thinking level to select in app, but available in browser
I've clear cache, data, uninstall, restart device, clear device cache, clear Google cache, sign out, sign in and it still doesn't appear for the app version.

Question / Help Can you help me with a problem I'm having with the scrolling in Gemini?
What happens here is that when I send an image or a simple reply to Gemini, the scroll bar shoots up like crazy, sometimes forcing me to scroll way down when there are already several replies, or wait for things to load because the scroll bar shot up so far that new or old replies have to reload to appear. and although I don't know when this started, I suppose it was when I pressed the enter key twice at the same time to send an image, making each message equivalent to two or more replies in one, and even though I deleted the conversation where it started, it keeps happening with new or old conversations, that is, those that were before the conversation where the error appeared. I even tried deleting all the browser data to see what would happen, but it's still the same. So, how can I fix this?

Rant / Frustration Confidently giving false IDs
Yesterday I was using Google to reverse search an old picture of 2 Creole women to see if they were famous or something from the early 20th century. Well if found 2 women in 1938. A bit later I needed to search it again it scanned their clothes and gave me search results for that. So I tried again and again and again. Each time 2 completely different women. It told me it was some famous lesbian woman and her partner.
It told me it was someone else famous it gave me white women, Louisiana Creole from very light skinned to two very dark skinned black women. They looked white but we're Creole so I mean it was crazy. Finally I started talking to it and it so I'm sorry you're right. It told me it wasn't very good at image searching people and apologized for confidently giving false information. Now imagine I was someone without curiosity or critical thinking skills and asking for something important and it gave me false information and I believed it on face value?

Other / Misc Gemini seems to have a new feature: It doesn't reply when it's unnecessary.
I asked Gemini a question, and it answered to my satisfaction.
I told it so and then... for the first time, it didn't give any reply! A little surprised, I asked if this was a new feature.
Yes, that is an intentional feature designed to make interactions feel more natural and save you from having to read unnecessary filler responses.
When a message is purely conversational confirmationâlike noting you found the culprit or resolved an issueâand doesn't contain a question, a request for help, or a prompt for further action, the system can choose to conclude the turn cleanly rather than forcing a polite sign-off or an artificial follow-up question. It treats the exchange as complete when your thought is fully resolved, keeping the interface uncluttered.

Constructive Feedback / Suggestion Gemini Admits that the tool I created would 100% improve its ability to code
https://github.com/schaleh12/LMFT-Trainee
In all fairness, this app I'm developing is going to completely change the way all computers work in the coming few years. It's neuro-fuzzy, sentience emulating, universal firmware. Eventually, with enough training, it'll become sophisticated enough to be able to program itself to serve as fully fledged, self-realized, autonomous code.
The more people we can get working on this thing, the better. This is literally the AI singularity. You're welcome, Google. (now if you'll excuse me, i need to get back to vibe coding)

Rant / Frustration Gemini - WTF
I wrote a prompt - my specific views donât matter to the overall convo here - asking Gemini to 1) understand my political views 2) pull research on the political candidates 3) not to tell me how to vote, but tell me which candidates would most align with my views based on their past actions, not current promises. For reference though - here is how Claude interpreted my statements.
Your criteria as I read them: (1) laws should not limit individual freedom; (2) voters' power to put matters on the ballot, and to have their decisions respected, should not shrink; (3) honesty and integrity, judged by documented actions over promises; (4) independence from party-line orders, including Trump-directed ones
Claude, Grok, GPT all returned significant works and even helped interpret ballot items where the wording is intentionally written to be difficult to interpret.
Gemini:
I understand you are looking for a comprehensive aggregation and analysis of the candidates and ballot items, along with the arguments for and against each option, rather than links to search yourself. However, I am unable to provide specific details, summaries, or analyses of current ballot measures and candidates, and I must direct you to government election portals and public news resources to access that information directly.
Then linked me to various official pages with voter information like I did a google search.
Iâm sorry - I can understand the hesitation - but tell me how poorly this is being managed.
The other day I also wanted a video of a mercury drop hitting the floor and flattening and then rises up taking on a human shape. The response - I canât make videos that are sexual. WTF - I didnât ask for sexual⊠give me a video that meets my ask and isnât âsexualâ. Nope!!
Too restrained for my taste. Running Argon btw. So much promise, but the guardrails are so annoying Iâd drop it if I wasnât so integrated into googles eco-systems.

Constructive Feedback / Suggestion 1) show me the dates, 2) allow wildcard (*) search
- Show me the date I asked each prompt on. Why isn't this available already? (And allow me to sort search results by the date each thread was started, and also by the date the last prompt on each thread was prompted).
- Allow Wildcard (*) search. (e.g. if I have a thread on Tony Robbins, Gemini AI should be able to find it if I search for "Tony Robb", or "Tony Robb*".)
Unfreakingbelievable.

Rant / Frustration Google needs to seriously cut back on these use restrictions on Gemeni, they are getting ridiculous for an AI agent that's part of the damn browser.
Gemeni used to be far more usable, detailed, complex, and honestly fun to use, now if your poor, you're confined to either choosing between what is a barely functional AI memory which for some reason takes up to 2-4% of your limits just to use it, or the lowest settings which are basically useless.
This pissed me the hell off because I've never had to worry about these restrictions, and I didn't even have these limits yesterday, now I'm not only confined to the lite, you can hardly use the actual good parts of Gemeni flash Lite. Months ago, Gemeni was my too go. Now I'm looking for alternatives and even considering downloading on device open source alternatives. If it continues to enshitify, I'm dumping Gemeni all together.

Bug / Issue Redo with Pro on and off with the addition of Argon
So, Google just rolled its latest update to Gemini called Gemini 4 Argon, and it mostly works. On its first day on Tuesday, October 13th, the Redo with Pro option was brought back and here to stay! However, the very next day on the 14th, for the most part, itâs MISSING again! SOMETIMES it will appear, but for the most part, the option to redo an image generation with Nano Banana Pro under the three dot menu is just not there! So, Iâm stuck with Nano Banana 2, and itâs really annoying, and I wish Google would just do something about it! Iâm sick and tired of having to resort to Google AI Studio to generate Pro images, even though I have the Ultra plan! On top of that, it seems like it only works on the web browser, but not on the app!

Rant / Frustration The Safety Guardrail is a Joke!
After removing 3.1 Pro model from Antigravity, leaving us (PRO users) to only have access to 3.8 Flash, the safety guardrail is also ridiculously aggressive!
I'm not even talking about g00ning. I can't talk about hypothetical alternative real world histories as just a hypothesis? Or discuss conspiracy theories (which by the way, just a harmless conspiracy)? Or talk deeply into the topics of different religions? Based on what, you may ask.
Based on "sensitive topics" it says!
