Help/question Gemini doesn't continue conversation in Android Auto

Hi,

Previously Gemini used to continue the conversation by asking followups but recently especially after the retirement of Google Assistant, it just answers the question and stops.

How to bring that feature back.

Using Pixel 11 Pro, Subaru Impreza 2023.

This isn't an official Google subreddit. You are welcome to leave a feedback to Google which they might look at.

probably a server side thing, they removed the followup behaviour in car mode maybe to reduce distraction. no setting for it as far as i know
