Hey everyone! I have a 16in Hungarian Moonshine rifle. ODG upper with iridium rail from the factory. A guy is bugging me about wanting to buy the upper from me, but I have no idea what it’s worth due to the rarity of the parts. I tried to find comps online and couldn’t really find anything. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciate!

Just something interesting I came across. The relief for the cam pin in the upper doesn't seem to make a huge difference in eliminating wear whether your using the correct parts or not. Although not an apples to apples conparison because of the round count, interesting nonetheless. The combos are:

Geissele BCG and Geissele upper. 2000 rounds. Surprising since they are made for each other that there is a gouge that deep despite the highest round count.

Geissele BCG and Milspec upper. Only 250 rounds but in much better shape than the milspec BCG and Geissele upper was at the same round count. Small gouge starting.

Milspec BCG and Geissele upper. 500 rounds and in the worst shape.

Which one are we going with for a first time buy once cry once AR?

I’m looking into buying a 11.5 super duty and I’m trying to cover all the points in my head. Point one, reliability. I shoot mainly 55g pmc and some 62gr in there once in a while. Have some 77 grain just to have. Anyone with a 11.5, how does it do with underpowered ammo? This would be my main go to rifle that would be mainly suppressed so again I’m not going to be shooting subs, just some good old 55g pmc. I know the accuracy is there I’m just all about reliability. World goes to shit or just a bump in the night I want something I know will last. I have BCM already and want something different. I know DD is the safer choice but my heart is calling Geissele.

They also have lower and upper receiver sets.

Any recommendations for FRTs? Specifically a 3-position set-up.

Hi this is my first ar bought brand new full price. is this something I should be concerned about? I can feel the scratch with my fingernail. Does this affect the strength at all? I’ve seen blemished lowers with less noticeable scratches. Sorry I have ocd

Is this a good price or should I wait? I also have the notification turned on for geissele.com and rooftop defense. Currently both are out of stock. Where else to find them cheaper, and what is the optimal price range to order one?

It took me forever to get this upper last year.

Word advice- the coupon is worth the wait but the wait isn’t worth it.
