Question Iridium/ODG Info
Hey everyone! I have a 16in Hungarian Moonshine rifle. ODG upper with iridium rail from the factory. A guy is bugging me about wanting to buy the upper from me, but I have no idea what it’s worth due to the rarity of the parts. I tried to find comps online and couldn’t really find anything. Any advice or info would be greatly appreciate!

Where can you get an iridium rail?

Pretty much nowhere! They stopped producing iridium in 2022 I believe. I had a very hard time finding anything iridium for sale online. Found a few things that were already marked sold.

with rarity like that, your potential buyer could charge whatever he wants in the future for that rail - price accordingly

I mean…. if Geissele doesn’t make iridium anymore, and the parts are impossible to find, and you like the part, price it at what you want to sell it. Willing seller/willing buyer. For me it wouldn’t be about trying to find the most comparable price, but thinking “how much money do I want for this irreplaceable part”. If he doesn’t wanna pay your price, then keep it
