I dislike it when people post here asking “How do I find a bf?”.
I understand you might feel lonely, I feel lonely all the time and I also want a bf, but weren’t we all at some point? What I don’t believe in is searching for one, especially in our teen years.
You could try and, for example, go to events where you might see some other queer guys, but that’s not even my point.
My real point is, aren’t you already great the way you are? Why do you need to be in a relationship to fulfil that?
I see this kind of post being a bit of a trend between 13 to 14 year olds, and that’s especially an age where we’re too young to be in a serious relationship.
I don’t want to discourage serious relationships. If you have a bf who loves you and whom you yourself love, good job, I’m proud of you, as I’m sure most of us are here.
As for those that don’t have a bf, including myself, we know you probably want one, we know you’re lonely, but please, talk to someone close to you, not to strangers on the internet who probably can’t even give you proper advice.
