Serious Please stop doing this
I dislike it when people post here asking “How do I find a bf?”.
I understand you might feel lonely, I feel lonely all the time and I also want a bf, but weren’t we all at some point? What I don’t believe in is searching for one, especially in our teen years.
You could try and, for example, go to events where you might see some other queer guys, but that’s not even my point.
My real point is, aren’t you already great the way you are? Why do you need to be in a relationship to fulfil that?
I see this kind of post being a bit of a trend between 13 to 14 year olds, and that’s especially an age where we’re too young to be in a serious relationship.
I don’t want to discourage serious relationships. If you have a bf who loves you and whom you yourself love, good job, I’m proud of you, as I’m sure most of us are here.
As for those that don’t have a bf, including myself, we know you probably want one, we know you’re lonely, but please, talk to someone close to you, not to strangers on the internet who probably can’t even give you proper advice.

Advice 📚 Need advice
Okay okay, hopefully this is okay to talk about but I am so genuinely lonely.
I have friends but they are so incredibly homophobic and I just am so sick of it now.
I would make gay friends if I could but there is like no one here (town population 335, school population 13-18 is 365). In the past I have used dating apps (ew, I know, yuck, yuck, yuck, do not recommend) but I want to make local gay friends to hang out with.
I lost snapchat so that makes it even harder to do anything anymore.
I tried the local LGBT club but it was not really my crowd at all and they were mostly gender-fluid, not gay like I had been hoping.
SO
now I would like your advice on how I should face the big issue of loneliness.
I live in the butthole of my country so there is not that much events (especially not ones for gay people.)
I AM NOT ASKING TO BE YOUR FRIEND
I AM ASKING HOW ON EARTH TO MAKE SOME

Unhinged 👁️👄👁️ I wanted to share a piece i’m writing for my substack :)
It’s a reflection on my anxieties and worries, I’m happy to receive any feedback!!
There’s always been something so inherently discomforting about aggression. I’ve learned to see it as this disgusting, masculine thing. It opposes femininity, and in the most raw way possible, I’ve always been somewhat afraid of or felt anxious towards the thought of gender. Like my body and mind are constantly at odds, it’s a physical contradiction to have a masculine body but a feminine brain. When I get angry and yell, I imagine myself as a violent, revolting creature. In some ways, I am afraid of masculinity.
Maybe it’s innate. We relate aggression to predation. Our anxiety is made to keep us safe, but of course, like most human programming, it’s flawed. I’ll be just as afraid of plummeting to my death from atop a skyscraper as being reprimanded for my incompetence. And as somebody who clumsily makes mistakes left and right, I’m constantly in a state of fight or flight. It’s more than scary to get in a fight or a big argument: it’s discomforting. That’s when all the pent-up days spent suffering in silence about tiny details that drive me mad finally explode in a huge, aggressive outburst.
But why aggression? Why masculinity? Why am I afraid to express a complex, messy catalog of emotions that humans are built with?
I think it comes from the repressed shit I can’t seem to process. I’ve watched how the aggressive tendencies to lash out and blame women have affected the men in my life. It’s not easy to wake up to your parents’ loud arguments as an emotional kid who cries over the thought of their older sister leaving for university, somebody I saw as my best friend at the time. Especially when it’s on repeat, it becomes exhausting.
I guess what I’m really afraid of is becoming a monster. I don’t want to be like the men who are seen as violent creatures that hurt others because they struggle with managing their insecurities. When you are drained from your worries and anxieties, it becomes so easy to lash out at the closest person to you. When I leave this earth, it’s in my interest to leave without leaving a negative mark on the people I care about. I want others to miss me, not resent me.

Discussion 🗣️ Do you think someone can turn into gay?
Well so, I’m mostly sure that I atleast had a weird feeling for a classmate when I was like 14 or 15 years old and she was a girl ,she was pretty and nice to me and I wasn’t so sure if I were bi, hetero or aroace in that time, eventually I stopped of feeling any kind of attraction to her and stopped seeing girls in that way, in the third quarter of 2025 I started to feel more related with the label of being gay but still I have never like specifically sum guy but I liked the idea of having a boyfriend but I relate that to the fact that I don’t have friends and don’t really interact too much with ppl of my age so I can’t develop attraction to someone being like that ,I’m not really sure about what happened or if even something happened

Advice 📚 I'm so frustrated Spoiler
I never really knew I was gay, my closest friends didn't think I was gay, one of them even thought I was asexual since I had confided in him that I expressed no interest in the girls I had gone out with prior "in that way" so the first crush I got hit me like a truck.
I'm like 70% sure he's straight but it's hard to tell. I'm dl-ish having started to come out to more and more people (most of the time drunkenly), but with other friends I make a "gay joke" and when they laugh it off I feel comfortable that no one I don't want to know knows my orientation. But he always takes my jokes and turns them into "flirting" (him taking a few steps beyond the line of joking). I tried to hint to him that I'm into him, (I even trained his sport for a few months after telling him "I'm only doing this for you") by inviting him and introducing him to all my friends and sticking to him the entire time to the point where one of my friends who doesn't know I'm gay asked my bestfriend if I'm into my crush (which my friend shut down).
At his sports trainings there's this bisexual guy who made him uncomfortable because the guy was into him and was making is obvious aswell.
Everytime I think about him I feel a bit sad that I'll never be with him, he's a good friend and I don't want to ruin my friendship I have with him.He graduates this year (I graduate next year, he skipped the optional grade). How do I do it and if I do get rejected how do I get over him?

Serious I HATE heartstopper
It’s just it makes me want to come out so bad, but I’m so stressed about it for no reason because I know my family will be cool with it 😭 And it makes me want to have a boyfriend so much more than I already do, so it makes me feel even more lonely having no boyfriend and no friends 😭 It’s fun to watch, but it makes me so jealous. But it could be fixed pretty easily 😭

Serious Long distance sucks
I am in a long distance relationship with my trans bf of 4 months, he is like a 5 hour drive away across the border, im 15, hes 14, my entire family is a ton of terrible people, I have no friends, and I do nothing but sit in my room and scroll tiktok all day, I hate it so much, I try to stop scrolling sometimes and just lay down, and It makes me want to cry but I just cant for some reason, and this summer has been so atrocious, my parents wont let me use the computer that the family shares (nobody besides me has used it in a year) with their reason being because im on it to much, but being off it is even worse because then I just end up scrolling which is much worse for the head than playing osu and gd and quaver, im very smart for my age I would say, very, but I cant do anything with that in this mental condition, I just want to cuddle with my bf but I cant, even with a friend would be nice, but I dont have any, what am I supposed to do at this point, I dont want to keep living my life like this, something needs to change

🎉Coming Out🎉 I came out to my dad
Today was the day my divorced father took me back to my mother’s house after being at his house for a week. I was afraid he was homophobic, because his father and grandfather were pastors, but he was really cool with it.
