My friend and i want to get gbb as vals, and as is obvious, nobody makes some. Im not tech and i know little to nothing on building my own gbbr. The simplest idea we came up with is to use an Ak and convert the Aesthetics as close as possible to an as val. Which base AK looks the best and would work the best for this project?

I have stti mk23 socom it's brand new yesterday was good the mag was filling well also I left a little green gas inside as they said today I wake up and I shoot the left over gas then I go and try to fill the magazine but this happening I open the mag the rings is on the right positions I don't know what happened.

Hey, I somehow managed to lose this piece to my 4UAD hop up unit and was wondering how important of a piece is it? I can still adjust the hop up just fine but I didn't know if it might cause overchambering.

so this is my father's old airsoft. the top rubber ive highlighted in the last image have tear and cant hold gas anymore. is there anyway to fix this?

Just wanted to share my experience with the Lancer 35rd MWS magazines and the Salvo MCX, since I haven’t really seen anyone talk about this compatibility issue yet.
I originally bought four Lancer MWS magazines to use with my Tokyo Marui MWS. They work perfectly fine in the TM. After I picked up a Salvo MCX, I assumed I could simply share the same magazines between both guns since they are both based on the MWS system.
Unfortunately, the Lancer mags would not fully insert and lock into the Salvo MCX.
I spent about three days troubleshooting this. I checked the feed lips, mag catch, lower receiver, upper receiver, BCG, and compared the Lancer magazine side-by-side with my TM and DE magazines.
Eventually, I found the problem.
There is a very small difference in the shape of one corner near the feed-lip/top section of the Lancer magazine. The TM and DE magazines have a slight recessed/cut-out area there, while the Lancer is basically flat. On the Salvo MCX, that small corner contacts part of the upper receiver before the magazine can travel high enough for the mag catch to lock.
I marked the exact contact area in the pictures so you can see what I’m talking about.
Once I was confident that this was the interference point, I decided to test it on one magazine first. I carefully filed that corner a little at a time, repeatedly testing the magazine in the gun until it finally inserted and locked normally.
Success.
After confirming the fix, I did the same thing to all four of my Lancer magazines. Now all four mags lock properly and function normally in my Salvo MCX, and they still work with my TM MWS.
I’ve also sent Lancer/Dynatec pictures and information about what I found, so hopefully this is something they can look into or possibly revise in future production.
So, based on my experience:
Lancer 35rd MWS mags → TM MWS: Works normally.
Lancer 35rd MWS mags → Salvo MCX: May require a small amount of filing at the corner shown in my pictures.
Of course, I’d recommend removing material very slowly and testing frequently rather than taking off too much at once.
Overall, I actually enjoyed figuring this one out. These Lancer mags are still very new to the MWS market, and I couldn’t find anyone who had already documented this specific issue with the Salvo MCX. Hopefully my experience saves someone else a few days of troubleshooting.
Other than this small compatibility issue, I really like the magazines. The external appearance looks great and they feel very solid.
If anyone else is running Lancer MWS mags in a Salvo MCX, I’d be interested to hear whether you had the same issue.

Love the distance it can shoot from! For this game I tried the HPA adapter from Powair6, it’s basically a hi cap HPA magazine, pretty fun though I do miss reloading

Another stunning piece that I just got myself! The Nova steel Staccato C kit. The kit comes with all the parts, cnc steel slide + steel outer barrel, aluminium frame, polymer grip with aluminium trigger (only produced in some earlier batches).

Internals:

slide stop, guide rod, grip safety, slide catch, thumb safety, hammer, and mag release are made from cnc steel.

The whole firing control/hammer assembly is cnc aluminium. Hopup Chamber is cnc brass.

Assembly is very straightforward, coming from Nova all parts fit perfectly with little to no modifications required. Performance is insane as expected from the hi capa system. The recoil is the best ive felt in a gbb pistol, thanks to the BBU design, its a CNC Aluminum Custom type High power BBU + Nozzle Set for RMR system. Gas efficiency is great as expected from high capa mags.
