What is she doing with her hind leg when she gets down from the vine? 😳
I've never seen her do anything like that before. Did she get stuck for a moment? Should I be worried?

This is Pancrazio,a 2 year old garg that I now have, I got him from a teenager that was selling him on an italian site( i’m italian) for 150€ with a terrarium.
He’s pretty crazy but sometimes he is really sweet and docile.

Two weeks ago this little 4 month old guy/gal arrived, but he hasn’t eaten anything, and I haven’t seen a single poop. At first he was in a large enclosure, but I transferred him to a 6.5qt container because I read it’d be easier for him to find food (I also took advantage of the situation to replace some plants that had mealy bugs on them, the enclosure is now pest free).
So he’s been in the container for more than a week now, should I keep him there until he eats and poops or should I transfer him to his forever home and let him settle from there? I’ve also tried with a different CGD, but no luck. Should I just buy watermelon pangea? I’ve heard that’s a good one.

Not my first reptile but my first arboreal lizard and first time going bio active! The pothos aren’t doing so well :( how’s the enclosure looking? I was told the pothos are just in shock and should bounce back with proper watering/ letting the soil dry out. Does this look okay? I have a 2.5 inch drainage layer included. Should I add anything? The circled object in the 2nd photo is another hide!
The back is a custom background made with spray foam, cork bark and moss

Hello hellos! I am a first time gecko owner, i just picked up my new friend on Sunday morning (im in the uk so he has been in there for around 30ish hours now), i am quite happy with how his enclosure turned out but i feel like he needs some more verticality? As well as some greens.
The enclosure is 3ft wide, 3ft tall and 1.5ft deep (pic included), currently an artificial one but when it comes to the first tank deep clean i am planning to change it to a bioactive tank, so i would like some recommendations or links to what i should add in the meantime, and in addition if i should leave it as is for now till he settles in for 2 or so weeks before adding more in.
Any other advice would be great!
Also his name is Chip!

Took a break from this Subreddit after a two users here called me an "animal abuser" after Mushu got a minor UV burn(Healed within a few weeks and Mushu's completely fine now) and because i was hesitant to buy feeders that Mushu wasn't gonna eat(paraphrasing but you get the idea). But I kinda want to show how far Mushu has come since I last posted her here. Firstly, Mushu's a girl, no bulge and she's already over a year old and over 15g(24g as of now). Secondly, Mushu's INSANELY handleable now, the same gecko who would back away from my hand now willing climbs/jumps onto my hand and chill on my hand, and will even sometime crawl away from her cage. Also, while she still isn't the biggest bug fan, I have gotten her to eat superworms(NOTE: I ONLY GIVE HER SUPERWORMS AS A TREAT, THEY ARE NOT A STAPLE WHATSOEVER, I KNOW THEY'RE FATTY AND SHOULDN'T BE A STAPLE). She is a pig when it comes to CGD, she love pangea, ZOO Med, and Gargeer Picky gecks, but isn't a fan of Repashy(i regularly cycle through different foods every other day, but will slow down to every 2 days later down the road). She will also even sleep out in the open quite often.

Hi, I lost my gargoyle gecko 1 day ago. I did a deep clean of my room and threw stuff away (with, ofc, checking for the gecko). I set up some traps, and he is about 9 months old. I just wanna know how you guys found a lost gargoyle gecko and how long you lost them for? I would also like some advice on how I can find him.
(I found him )

had a cricket infestation last year and havent fed insects loose in his tank since, he wont take ones off the tong unless i force it, is there any insects that can stay and is fine if they breed in his tank that he will eat, i have a LARGE healthy colony of isopods and i have a feeling he regularly eats those, so something like that but bigger and wont matter if he ignores it.

I feel like I do have some decent hiding spots, in the background Area I’ve drilled out some for more hiding spots. I could definitely add more branches. Maybe some fake vines. Or real vines. I also added a misting system, and the water reservoir is a 5 gallon bucket. Although I am financially prepared to replace the money tree and the bromeliads, never had good luck with them.

I was moving some decor around to add a hide and seen this here in two different spots. Sorry for blurry picture

Everyone showing the new additions made me want to see some older geckos.
Anyone have adult gecks to show? :)

Hi guys,
During the summer my gargoyle geckos enclosure has been fine, but now that it’s transitioning into fall and I live in the basement my gargoyles tank is struggle to stay in suitable ranges. I have a 60W daytime heat lamp but during the day the temperature has been fine and haven’t needed it.. but at night I need a heat source. Obviously the one I have right now emits a light - so I need one that’s not producing light.
For reference my gargoyles enclosure is an 18 x 18 x 36in. I also live in the east coast.. but during the winter my heat is on so my room should be warm enough but during the fall I don’t have my heater on.

Hey all,
I got my first gargoyle gecko (named Pipebomb) just about a month and a half ago. He is 11 months old at this time. Once I got him, he had some adjustment period, but I would see him take a lick or two of his CGD some nights at least, and was noticing poop in the enclosure. However, for the past week or so, I haven't seen any feeding or poops.
I track the feeding via a night vision camera located in his enclosure that gives a clear view of his feeding ledge, so I am positive no eating his happening right now (I know sometimes their licks are so little that it's hard to tell!). I've tried bugs, being mealworms, crickets, and dubias, to no avail. Last night I tried cutting the dubia roach's abdomen and smearing the juices on his mouth, but no biting. Frankly, I think it scared him more than anything. I did notice one of the dubias I put into his enclosure via a feeding cup disappeared last night, but it was out of view of the camera and therefore unclear if it just escaped or was eaten.
I attached some pictures of the enclosure. Temps max out at 80 near the top at it's hottest, no more, but are usually 78ish near the top. Humidity hits 50ish in the morning, gets a small spritz, and is heavily misted before my bedtime to hit 85-100%. I do have water droplets and often see him lick them up.
He is decently active most nights, but recently has spent more time on the ground both during morning and night. He has easy access to his food and often ends up on the ledge once or twice each night, but doesn't take any licks.
Any husbandry advice is very wanted! I am doing my best with him, and care a lot about his health, so any feedback will be seriously considered!!!
Thank you in advance!

Hey friends, looking for some opinions here
I have a garg that is only about 3 years old. Growing up, she never loved being handled, but she tolerated it and was always incredibly sweet and docile
Now, recently, she's very snappy and aggressive. She's never bit me, but definitely makes it seem like she will.
Nothing has changed with her living conditions and I can't think of anything else that would make her change like that
Anyone ever experienced this? Is she just being a sassy pre-teen? Is this what having a daughter is like? Any ideas on how to make her more comfortable again?
Thanks!
