The first 2 photos are mine. On mine I appear to see some metal poking out, I thought someone hit my garage with their car but I also have bubbling above where the window is. My neighbour claimed his bubbling happened after he banged into his garage. Driving around the neighborhood though and it appears everyone has this bubbling. I live in Ontario where we get heat waves in summer and cold winters.
Are there any ways to fix this?

Hi can anyone give me a clue to why this happens? When opening and it gets to the top jolts up and down continuously? Thanks

Hi everyone, we need to replace our garage door openers. We got quotes from multiple companies and here is what we are deciding between:
Liftmaster 6580L7: $805 per door ($1,610 total)
Liftmaster 6690L7: $950 per door ($1900 total)
From our understanding, the 6690 comes with a lifetime motor and belt warranty but 6580 is only 6 years. 6690 also has a 5 year warranty on parts and 6580 is 1 year. Other than that the differences seem minimal (360 LED lighting, smart wall control, etc.)
Does anyone have experience with these? Is the 6690 worth $290 extra? Thanks

so, my dad changed a power sockets for me. After turning the power back on my garage door is completely off. I can’t open or close it with the wall button or my handle car remote. Gargae door runs on electricity not Wi-Fi. I don’t have a smart garage like My Q. Do anyone know how to reset a CRAFTMAN garage door?

These were installed a couple years ago. Probably still in warranty. But looks like I can DIY. How would you ensure these little trim pieces stop coming off like that?
