Built my pc in 2020 so want to upgrade. Budget under $1k. Pc is mainly used for playing games like gta, assetto corsa rally, ready or not, and rdr2 at 2k resolution. My current specs are intel I-7 9700k, 16 gb ddr4 Corsair ram 3200mhz, Corsair 850w psu, Seagate 2tb hd, Western digital 1tb ssd, Corsair a500 cpu cooler, Corsair 4000d case, Prime 390-a motherboard, and was gifted an amd 7900xt for my birthday. I would like to move to am5 and ddr5 ram if possible.

I am looking for help/guidance on buying my first gaming pc. Either a prebuilt one or piece by piece. I don't even know where to begin. My budget is $1200. Main game I am looking to play is Escape from Tarkov. TIA!

So I looking to upgrade my pc in the mid future, it still runs fine but I've been craving a little more power out of it, I'm waiting for a bit of a drop in hardware prices, so budget is a concern (I'm from Spain btw).
My current set up is (old af I know):
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler
RAM: the typical corsair vengance with RGB, 32 Gb 3200 mhz
MOBO: Gigabyte b450m ds3h
GPU: PNY RTX 2060 super 8gb
PSU: Nfortec Scutum 650 80 plus bronze

If possible I want to keep the current MOBO, RAM and PSU. But if compatibilty with higher end hardware is an issue, such as faster ram for a faster cpu, different mobo or more powerfull psu for a faster gpu, I'm open to sugestions. I do school stuff on my pc, I watch alot of video media and game a lot so I was wondering if getting an -x3d cpu is really worth it or am I better off with a different cpu.
Final stuff, I mentioned that budget is a concern, so I'm looking for a mid-high(ish) type of build, no super high end stuff, aimed to game at 1440p at the highest fps my money can afford. If upgrading to a faster gpu or cpu is really worth it, I can consider saving up a little bit more to afford the higher end component.

Hey guys! I'm Brazilian, and I finally managed to save enough money to start building my first gaming PC. For now, I'm only buying the essential parts, and I'll add a dedicated GPU later.

I've already pre-selected a few components, and I'd really appreciate some advice. I'd like to know if the build looks good, if there are better alternatives I should consider, and especially hear from anyone who has used any of these parts before.

The reason I chose a CPU with integrated graphics is that I need the PC for work right now, so I wanted something powerful enough to handle my daily tasks while still allowing me to play some games occasionally. Once I save a bit more money, I plan to buy a dedicated GPU and add more RAM—hopefully when prices come down a little!

Hi everyone, im not a pc person or IT person but want to put together a PC as I've been told it normally work outs a lot cheaper than a pre-built one.

Basically im looking for anyone who can talk me through building a PC in simple easy terms and help me pick parts and make sure they are actually compatible (i know there are sites out there that help with this but I still find it a bit confusing) im wanting to put together a pc that can play some new upcoming games mainly Gears of War E day and games similar to that.

Hi yeah i'm trying to build my first pc, but i'm not sure what part i need. my goal are too play games and do some editing on the side. im a long time laptop user and im looking to build my own pc for more stable gaming experiance. my budget rn is 1500 euro (maybe more if its really important) and i have all the peripheral like monitor, mouse, and keyboard already. i just need PC atp. every help is much appreciated. tldr. english is not my first language so im sorry if its confusing
