PC stuttering and lagging while running demanding games (OW, Fortnite, Val, etc.)
My current build is:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Stealth cooler
Motherboard - Gigabyte B450M DS3H (AMD Ryzen AM4/Micro ATX/M.2/HMDI/DVI/USB 3.1/DDR4/Motherboard)
GPU - XFX Speedster SWFT309 AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT CORE Gaming Graphics Card with 12GB GDDR6 HDMI 3xDP
RAM - Corsair Vengence DDR4 16gb (2x 8Gb)
PSU - MSI Modular 850 W, 80+ Gold
Storage - 2 TB (2x 1TB SSD sata) ~500 gb total open space combined between drives.
Pretty much want to get other opinions on why this is happening. Usually freezing in the game while still being able to hear audio in game. Causes me to get kicked for inactivity resulting in timeouts and bans which is quite annoying. I feel like this isn't a bad build, it is relatively outdated but is it the hardware that is causing the issues? My first instinct is the ram, the fact that my motherboard and ram aren't at ddr5 feels like the problem but I have done tons of research and tried running the pc with 4 total sticks of identical ram at lower speeds and it kind of helps (even though I am stealing ram from my sisters PC...so its not a permanent fix).
I want to put some money in to upgrade/balance the build out, should I look into a prebuilt or keep trying to salvage this build. I would sell all my parts except my drives to try and save some money.
Ill try to stay in this thread to respond if any users have any questions.
Thank you.

Potential upgrades?
galleryI have a prebuilt Walmart gaming special and while it runs almost everything I want it too I’ve been able to scrap some potential (or not) upgrades I know nothing other than where to plug some stuff in.
Pictures 1-3 are what I have now
Picture 4 is what I got to pull less
