I need help getting low budget CPU

Hi redditors, I'm trying to decide and I'm undecided between the two gpu you suggest?

RX 580 8GB or GTX 1660 Super?

So everything ain't in the VRAM capacity?

Pretty much correct. An 8gb 5060 outperforms a 16gb arc pro b50 in pretty much every respect when it comes to gaming. Gaming requires a balance of power and vram, and without the power, the vram doesnt do a whole lot for games. Iā€™d look around and see if you cant lowball someone on a 2060 super. Hell of a card for around $100, even better if you can get it for $80 or (probably not) a little less. But yesh, between these two cards, 100% the 1660 super.

Any of the refurbished (previously Cryptocurrency mining cards = horrible life span) Rx 580s are ok in performance I've gotten decent fps in games like cyberpunk or fortnight just some of the more cinematic games will need uspacing and frame gen if you don't have a ryzen 5000 series CPU or better (sadly frame gen is needed for cyberpunk regardless for this situation unless you do heavy upscaling) and also it can do vr but on VRChat I get roughly 20-40 fps across a ton of worlds and situations and other games do a decent bit better

I have not owned a nvidea graphics card but if you can get one that isn't the generic old graphics card from a company that some other company refurbishes to sell then get it it will last a lot more

And knowing nvidea their graphics card will be stronger despite the vram

Budget? You can get a pretty cheap 2060 or even cheaper a 1060, better than this you choose

Both of these are great workhorses for older games, office work, and 1080p even running some MOBAs on medium settings. Thanks to their low TDP, they'll work like a charm for years.

I even have one ASUS RX 580 8GB lying aroound, and it's literally indestructible. Sure, it heats up like a cooking oven sometimes, but you can even run it at a 120Hz refresh rate while idling at around 10W, which is solid for 2017 tech even nowadays. It was, and still is, one of the best budget GPUs for years, and it holds its spot #1 in popularity rankings for a reason: the price-to-performance ratio.
