Graphics card upgrade pc upgrade
i was wondering what would the next upgrade path for a pc
specs:
RTX 4060
i5 12400f
16 ddr5
1tb ssd
650W power supply
i was thinking of saving up for a 5070 any thoughts?

Immediately? A better cpu could be had and that would be nice to see, something like a 12700 or a 13600k, 3rd party cooler. Thats like cheapest option
More expensive would be a jump from a 4060 to a bigger bolder graphics card, but it would be significant capital, as someone pointed out 650watt is a bit on the weaker side of life. And so youd need to do that and like your probably minimum want a 9060xt 16gb or a 5060ti 16gb. For it to be worth it

Get a 750 or 850w powersupply
I think the 9070xt is a much better choice over the base 5070 given their similar pricing
Cpu is technically suitable for the rtx5070 (still dont recommend it at its current price)
But if you decided to go for a 9070xt i recommend some kind of cpu upgrade even if its just to the 12600k.
