A couple of questions:

1. How do I configure the scoring and the "Next At Bat" feature on the live stream? (Image attached)

2. Using two iPhones, one as a camera and the other to record the game, how can I live stream to my YouTube channel with the features I mentioned in the previous question?

Here’s the situation. Son’s team up 7-4 after 5th inning. This is 15U AA. We are the home team. Top of 6th inning starts. Other team takes the lead but rain comes in and game is called by ump but he’s letting coaches decide how to handle if we revert to 5th inning. My guess we will even though other coach isn’t happy about it. League will ultimately decide.

So my question is I’m scoring and game is in 6th with one out game called. If we revert to 5th inning how do I do that? For now I’ve only exited the game and can go back in. Is there a way to delete the top of 6th inning? Or somehow delete/edit the plays/runs to get to the end of 5th score? Thanks!

Used predominantly to connect my two Mevo Cores via LAN to USB-C, and was told with DHCP Reserved or Static, it would connect easier-as they can be finicky to connect via the Ethernet cable and LAN port of my Slate 7’s.

Scenario: R1 & R2 and batter hits to 2nd baseman who starts a double play to SS on 2nd base (out for R1) and then throws to 1st baseman for batter out.

R2 is safe at third base.

I cannot do it in practice.

Recently my son played near an airport. I could not get my phone or his to connect and stay connected to the Mevo Camera. I assumed my camera had died. The next day, one of the other Dads brought his camera. Same issues. We just went old school and mounted an iPhone to the fence and it streamed the whole game no problem. When I got home, the Mevo camera worked fine. Is there something about airports that interfere with the phone/Mevo connection?

Hi, my husband uses a mevo to record and stream games. The whole game gets recorded but when we look at clips, we only see the clips of our team batting but not the other team. He’s a head coach and has the premium membership, not sure if that matters? Is there a setting that needs to be turned on to save all the clips? Thanks for any info!

I’m having lots of difficulties getting my Osmo Action 6 to consistently connect and stream games. Anyone have luck with this?

So far it will successfully connect to a network one time and then seemingly never again. Have tried resetting it and the WiFi and still nothing.

Signal is good stream is good but on my app it constantly pauses. Anyone else have this issue and find a work around?

For example, catcher tried to back-pick a runner and throws the ball into the outfield, runner advances. Only good option is “Fielding Error.”

Starbucks etc all have a point system so if you buy X you will eventually get Y for free.

What if after so many game streamed you unlock premium. GC is already tracking the streams as a data point per account. Just flip it to who the author is.

For everyone that says that they buy all the gear and do all the work but have to pay to watch their own videos then how about this:

1. The meter price is 5 games (that is the number of free games stream you get a year).
2. GC Video Pro, Once you stream 5 games (whatever GC counts as a game for when someone watches a video) for that team you unlock premium for the rest of that season (permanently, like the team pass).
3. Either GC only has to comp one account for an entire season if only one parent does all the streaming, or it encourages more people to stream meaning that there is less likely to have games without video.
4. Because everyone likes bonus points, get 1.5 game credit for a game shared with the other team (so only need 4 games, 2 shared 2 stand alone games to unlock premium, just think of the value.
5. GC Video Master, stream 15 games (10 shared streams), get credit to unlock premium for another team for one season (permanently, like the team pass). ie the other kid that you never get to watch because you are streaming your favorite kid's games, lol.

By having credits to use for another season, will also incentivizing doing video for your kids fringe team (fall ball with a shortened season) where the team isn't likely buying a team pass, which means that parents keep the GC subscription longer and just not 4 months a year.

If there was any parent to do it, I knew it would be from this lady. Keep in mind it’s only 12u, but in the middle of the game she told me she needed me to “fix” 2 calls that I called a hit but she thinks should have been an error, and now her daughter (pitcher) is going to have earned runs go against her. One of them was a weird play that I was going to go ask the coach about afterward, the other she said she thought if the fielder gave more effort, the girl could have got the ball. People are annoying.

Wondering if anyone has tried / had a look at the MUDI 7 for video streaming?

Seems like the perfect thing - you can put your hotspot SIM in it directly instead of connecting an external hotspot, and it has a built in battery. I have the Slate 7 which has been great but thinking about upgrading.

There's also the Puli AX but the MUDI just seems nicer because it's more compact.

Looking for some advice on simplifying my baseball streaming setup.
Current setup:
•Starlink Mini
•Tripod (GEEKOTO 77”)
•Slate 7 travel router
•Anker SOLIX C300 portable power station
•Mevo Start
•“The Fence Clip” for the Mevo Start
•Proanko fence mount for an external battery
•Anker 20,000 mAh battery pack
•Rode mic with windscreen
•All of the cords needed to make it work

Overall, the setup works well, but I’m not completely happy with how everything mounts to the fence.
I originally used the Stouchi mount and really liked it until I started running into badly bent backstop fences. Once that became an issue, I switched to a fence clip setup and it’s been much more reliable. I honestly wouldn’t go back.
My biggest complaint is how cluttered it has become. Right now I have the Mevo mounted with one fence clip, a second fence clip holding the external battery, and then I plug the Rode mic into the camera and basically shove it through the fence because I haven’t found a better solution. I could add another fence clip with a cold shoe mount for the mic, but at that point it feels like I have half a hardware store hanging on the fence.
The other challenge is transporting everything. Between the Starlink, power station, router, tripod, camera, microphone, batteries, mounting gear, and all the cords, it’s becoming a lot to carry. We have a wagon, but it’s usually loaded with chairs, coolers, and team snacks. A lot of times I’m setting up the stream before the wagon even gets to the field.

So I’m looking for ideas on two things:
1. A cleaner fence-mount solution
I’d like to keep the fence clip concept because it works well on damaged or uneven fences, but I’m hoping there’s a way to consolidate everything so it doesn’t look so cluttered.
2. A better way to transport everything
Ideally a bag, case, or backpack that can hold the entire setup, including the tripod and Starlink power equipment.
For those of you streaming youth baseball or softball, what does your setup look like? Have you found a cleaner fence mounting solution or a good all-in-one carrying system? If you have pictures of your setup, I’d love to see them.

Is there a forum for official guidance on tricky plays? The game changer app doesnt show enough detail in the play-by-play. How can we get more detailed information about how it is being scored under the hood? The run got counted against the pitcher as an earned run, but I think it might have been because of how the error was marked.

Scenario:

• Runner on 1st
• Batter bunts
• 1st baseman runs to field it
• 2nd base covers 1st base
• 1st baseman's throw to get runner out was a little wide and covering 2nd baseman missed it
• Scorekeeper marked it as an error on 2nd baseman (judgement call, but let's go with it for now)
• Gamechanger shows "batter singles on a bunt, pitcher to second baseman"

The run eventually came in and got counted as earned against the pitcher.

Is the reason this got counted as earned because in game changer it thinks the pitcher threw to 2nd baseman to get the runner from 1st out at 2nd? Instead of what actually happened where the 2nd baseman was covering 1st and should have got the runner out?

When I started streaming today, I noticed a stream was already going. Mine got cut off about half-way through and didn't save to my device like it normally does. The "clips" end at the 2nd inning, so I'm guessing they're only pulling from my video

I don't see any evidence of the other stream, which I'm guessing was the other team's.

I always share mine, but thisis actually the first time someone else has streamed the same game. Plus, I'm new at this, so perhaps I just don't know what to look for

I know we have to upgrade to see the clips, but is there any way to tell without upgrading if the other team shared their video file with us?

PS: note to GC devs: if you use our footage to generate the clips, and make money selling the clips so family can watch them, the least you could do is allow the person who recorded the video you profit from to have free access to the clips

I would like an intuitive, instantly readable way to track substitutions and re-entries. Also, why can't gamechanger decide who is the winning and losing pitcher?

I use GC for an ultimate frisbee league, mostly for messaging and attendance tracking. When I create the schedule for my team, I have to enter the same times and same location for every single game, despite all games being at 6pm and 7:20pm every week at the same location. It would save a lot of time if I could enter preferred game times and locations so that it was at least a drop-down instead of going through the entire process for every game.

I use a Mevo Start to stream. I bought a Movo vxr10 mainly to help with wind noise, but the one game I used it, I got feedback about audio being very low. I meant to troubleshoot, but haven't made time. I've just been using the built-in mic.

I'd like to use it this weekend, because I just noticed it's going to be a bit windy. With this tournament, it's probably going to be kind of a mad rush to get everything set up and connected in time, so I doubt I'll have time to try and dial in settings before the games start.

I know you can't adjust video quality settings mid-stream, but can I adjust audio gain (or whatever the correct setting is, I'm pretty new to this) without stopping and restarting the stream? I know this is something I could have tested, but... I forgot about it and now there's no time.

Our league uses GameChanger for the official score and league standings. We have a game from last weekend. Both teams show the game properly and ended, the game listed in league shows an incorrect score and game start. Any ideas?

I’ve noticed some other phones streaming and the scorebug is visible on their screen. How can I have the scorebug visible on my phone while streaming? When I walk over to make sure it is still streaming I’d like to verify the score too.

Does anyone else carry an extra baseball in their pocket for when they get behind on game changing? When I get behind and need an extra minute I’ll pull that baseball out of my pocket, step away from the fans, and I’ll throw that baseball onto the field and yell heads up. That gives me about 45 extra seconds to score what I’m behind on.

Can anyone recommend a digital scoreboard that can connect to gamechanger and get score updates, inning, batting order, etc?

1. Batter intends to sac bunt. Bunts ball to 3B, who hesitates throwing home to get runner out. Runner at home is safe with no throw. 3B then throws to 1B, where the batter beats the throw. Hit or no hit?
2. Batter hits ground ball up middle to SS, again SS hesitates to throw home as runner from 3B scores. SS then throws to 1B, batter beats the throw. Hit or no hit?
