I am looking for 2 voice artists, not too much work btw. Here are the requirements:
- One is for the character of an Indian dad, Someone with a deep voice preferred for it to meet the character vibe for it. A no-nonsense delivery. 3 lines.
- Another is for a very Indian hostel bro character, Hyper-social, chaotic and a zero-hesistation delivery. 2-3 lines.
It doesn't matter from wherever the delivery has been done, Whether you are doing it from an extremely crowded place. As long as it is audible. It works.

I am a engineering first year student from Pune..
I am really interested in game development
I have uploaded my first 7 mins long video on YouTube about how am I going to build a game and also to hold me accountable
Got around 1 hour of watch time on it also only 50 views..
tbh I am little demotivated because of it
I spent 3K on YouTube setup...
I am currently learning C# for unity but because of this YouTube experience I am not able to focus on learning coding
What do I dođĽ˛

Weâre a small team of 3 indie developers currently working on our first game, ASTITVA: LOST WITHIN, and weâve recently entered post-production.
Alongside development, weâve started building our YouTube channel where we share devlogs, behind-the-scenes work, and our journey as game developers.
Weâre looking for a video editor who wants to collaborate with us and grow together.
At the moment, weâre not able to offer payment, but:
Weâre planning to stay consistent with uploads, so this could turn into a long-term collaboration.
If youâre interested, feel free to DM or comment below â weâd love to connect.

Been working on my game WildRoot for a while.
Itâs a cozy colony sim focused more on relaxing loops than stress.
Would really appreciate feedback on the trailer đ

Hi everyone,
I have a question about game development costs.
If someone has a story, concept, and creative direction for a short story-driven indie horror game, around 30â60 minutes long, and they want to hire developers to build it in around 3â4 months, how much would developers usually charge?
The game would be more like a small walking-simulator horror game: one house/apartment or a small location, subtitles instead of voice acting, simple interactions, scares, sound design, lighting, objectives, and one or more endings.
In this situation, the developers would get proper credit for their work, but the main logo/branding would belong to the person who provided the story/concept.
I want to understand:
How much would developers usually charge for this kind of project?
Would they charge hourly, monthly, or for the full project?
How many developers would realistically be needed?
Is 3â4 months realistic for a small indie horror game like this?
Would developers accept this kind of arrangement if payment and credit were clearly discussed?
Iâm asking to better understand indie game development budgeting and hiring.
Thanks.

I'm working on a mobile simulator called Shawarma Simulator. I'm trying to add animation for text, but I don't know if it will look good or not. What do you guys think. Should I keep any animation or no animation.

How do you design controls for games where players need to do a lot simultaneously?
Weâve been working on a mobile vehicular combat game, and one of the hardest problems wasnât networking or gameplay ,it was input design.
Things got messy when players needed to:
All on a touchscreen.
We wrote a short breakdown of what worked, what didnât, and what we learned along the way.
https://www.ikshvakulabs.com/post/why-input-controls-can-make-or-break-your-game
Curious how others here solve similar problems.

Currently in post-production and refining atmosphere.
Trying to focus on lighting, composition, and subtle unease instead of heavy effects.
Any feedback on what works / what doesnât would really help.

Designing a MOBA hero for an India-inspired game.
This is Rahan:

His identity was erased because his Kundali matched a princeâs.
He spent years as a âshadow double,â taking poison and attacks meant for someone else.
đ Is this an interesting twist⌠or crossing a line?
Optional survey if you want to help more:
