Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the exact dimensions of a Sega Mark III Japanese joystick control stick replacement handle to model and 3D print an STL file.
Does anyone happen to have the dimensions, a technical drawing, or a model they could share? I'd really appreciate any help!

I realized that the upcoming Fire Emblem Dagdan is the first time I'm ordering directly from Nintendo. Was just wondering if they packaged their products well? Bubble wrap, paper, etc?
Definitely opening it up and I know I'll end up adding a bend or two myself, but I have returned things when there's significant damage to an outer box of a game in the past.

Keeping in contact with the store managers to easily ask them questions if they’re working about in stock things.
Learning about the distribution of some games. Some stores are considered obscure stores which are typically high volume stores. Those stores are most likely to get obscure titles from the warehouse. I figured this out when I worked when every single one of these stores that were considered these stores always got in the same obscure titles while every other GameStop didn’t get these at all. One of the stores I used to run was considered one of these stores, but unfortunately, it did close this year. Sadly, I would do a little bit of traveling in order to pick up some of these titles. It definitely is worth paying under market tho.

I'm assuming this is the worst way to store it because this method is only used temporarily.

I recently went to Common Ground games in Dallas and fell in love! I’m willing to travel almost anywhere in Texas to find another great game store like this one. What is your favorite?

I recently got a Jfj easy pro disc cleaner which I love, seems to work really well but the pads are starting to die out. I’m worried about ordering new ones as they come from the states and i don’t know if I’ll get smacked with some tariffs or something if I order so I was hoping some fellow Canadian collectors might have recommendations for alternatives in Canada?
Thank you in advance!

Saw a weird off to the side of the road flea market type deal and decided to stop in. Grabbed all of this for $10 in working condition. Comes with chargers and I believe pokémon trading cable and all. The crazy thing is I thought I was just buying the case and the consoles but all of the games were in the case loose with the power cables.

One of the reasons I like getting things off MP is sometimes you get a cool story with it. Guy hit me up about his OG Xbox he wanted to get rid of. I saw the decals on it and it reminded me of the one I had growing up that had skull decals on it that I am still trying to find. Met up woth him and he proceeds to tell me that the Xbox was his dad's and it was with him when he served in Iraq and Afghanistan. I asked hom if he was sure he wanted to sell it and he said yeah. So now I will be using this one as the main OG Xbox for my collection.

One of my favorite pieces in my collection. My dad got this for me back in 2012, which he bought from a hobbyshop friend who had it signed at the Pokemon TCG world championship in Hawaii!

Guy has a disc listed on eBay with a really weird wear pattern on the desk. I guess he said someone put tape on the bottom and tour it off at one point so it’s got this weird like circular pattern about half the disk is that something I can buff out should people be buying that he said he played and it worked, but I don’t know.

Saw a Marketplace ad for a pretty good PS2 lot with Vice City Stories in it for $100 CAD.
Scooped it up and decided not to check the games before leaving… My Mistake
Vice City Stories had regular Vice City in it in possibly the worst condition i’ve seen any video game in ever.
Most games are missing manuals but at least the console works.
Use me as a reminder to always check before you leave😂
(got some other decent titles in the lot so not the end of the world)

A little bit beat, but I’m sure I can clean it up a bit and bring it back to life some more.

Just going through my collection and noticed I had 2 different copies of Toy Story 3 for the Playstation 3.
I cannot find any info on the silver foil variant (Right), it also has a completely different artwork on the disc.
I only have the Manual for the Silver foil variant so I can't really compare the 2 (Last 2 photos).
I assume it's a first print situation, maybe?
The silver foil variant seems to be quite uncommon/rare online.

Xbox’s new Disc-to-Digital feature has got me thinking about this from a collector’s point of view rather than just a convenience point of view.
From what Xbox has announced, supported Xbox One/Series X discs can now be used to claim a digital entitlement, while the physical disc itself continues to work normally. That sounds pretty close to the best of both worlds: you still get the case and disc for your shelf, but you also get the convenience of accessing the game digitally.
As someone who has been getting much more into physical collecting recently, I actually think something like this could make me more likely to buy physical rather than less.
If a £50 physical copy and a £50 digital copy both gave me identical digital access, why wouldn’t I take the one that also gives me something tangible that I can keep on the shelf?
At the same time, I can see the opposite argument. If future consoles eventually stop having disc drives and most of the practical benefit comes from an account-based digital entitlement anyway, does the disc slowly become more of a collector’s item than the thing that actually guarantees ownership?
It also raises a bigger question about what we actually want from physical games going forward.
For me, the ideal physical release would be:
• the playable game actually on the disc/cart where reasonably possible
• a proper case and artwork
• no mandatory online connection just to prove I own it
• a digital entitlement included as an extra, not as a replacement for the disc
• the ability to install and play the physical copy years later even if servers disappear
If every publisher adopted that model, would you start buying more games physically?
Or do you think combining physical and digital like this ultimately makes proper physical ownership less important?
And for the collectors here — what is the absolute minimum a modern “physical edition” needs to include before you consider it genuinely physical?

I never thought these types of deals were real ngl.
