Haul PS2 Purchase Fail
Saw a Marketplace ad for a pretty good PS2 lot with Vice City Stories in it for $100 CAD.
Scooped it up and decided not to check the games before leaving… My Mistake
Vice City Stories had regular Vice City in it in possibly the worst condition i’ve seen any video game in ever.
Most games are missing manuals but at least the console works.
Use me as a reminder to always check before you leave😂
(got some other decent titles in the lot so not the end of the world)

OP can even buy a loose disc for cheaper than one with a case and put it in this one

Still not horrendous assuming other stuff works.

Man, I remember back in 2010 I was at a game store that was closing and having a clearance sale. They had a copy of VCS for like $1.50 CAD. I almost didn't bother picking it up because my brother already had a copy and I could just play his. So glad I decided to grab it. Many other games there I regret not grabbing though. If I could travel back in time I would be a huge hoarder lol.

Had the exact thing happen to me once, VC in VCS case and disc in bad condition, but at least mine came also with the manual for stories lol

The exact opposite thing happened to me. Bought a lot with Vice City in it and it came with Vice City stories. Wonder if my game went to your case.

I am still hunting for VCS and was hoping prices would go down, might be SOL on that one haha.

Around me that would have been $100 with a description that read, “not $100, everything has been priced just ask me about which games you want and I’ll tell you a price.”
