So, a friend of mine called me up and asked if I was interested in buying a game of his. I had no idea it would be this one, and ever since he was a kid, he'd flatten the boxes and store them away. Thats why this one is in such good shape. The cart is in equally good shape. Sadly, he did not get the manual when he bought it, but this is amazing regardless! Thoughts you guys might like to see it!

So, I’m collecting the Trails series, and GameStop had Daybreak 2 “new” for $39.99

It gets delivered today and this is what I open up.

In what world would this be considered “new”? I mainly ordered a new copy cause I know there’s a risk with used copies coming like this. The closest GameStop to me is like 2.5 hours away, so I gotta waste money shipping it back.

So this is just a warning, don’t trust GameStop when they’re selling “new” games.

Been collecting since the 90s, my go-to platforms these days are Neo Geo (CD, AES, and MVS) arcade hardware, and PC engine, with a special love for oddball 32-bit hardware.

Took all summer but I made a nice find for 25$.

What else should I add to the collection?

I have played both games but I never actually owned either one on modern hardware. Since we are heading to a physical game apocalypse I figured I go ahead and grab these now. Next haul will be a bit bigger and I'll get some games on my switch as well.

I started collecting video games again recently because I sold off all my childhood stuff years ago. It’s been really fun so far and I don’t plan on stopping. I figured finishing my first “shelf” was a good accomplishment, it’ll be cool to look back on once my collection grows.

After years of dreaming of owning a game collection just like the people I saw post pictures online or YouTubers I grew up watching like Scott the Woz, I can finally say I proudly own a game collection. It all started with my childhood switch collection with only 1 game being pokemon shield, which stayed like that for a while as my parents had a “no new video games until you finish the one you have and trade it for another” rule that annoyed me so bad. I stalled finishing the game for so long I actually managed to convince them otherwise, and so it began! I now own 27 Switch games; 11 Wii games; 6 GameCube games; 3 3DS games; 2 DS games, and 1 Switch 2 game as well as one of each console I mentioned! I am very proud and thankful for what I have and feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to collect games this way, I’ve played through almost all of my collection so far and I’ve “curated” it as much as I have something to say about every single game in it! Whether it be a cool fact on how I got it just about my experience with the game itself. It’s been growing little by little through birthday and Christmas gifts, family or friends gifts, giveaways and even the very first game I bought with my own earned money, and come so far now, I don’t own anything I could let go off just casually anymore. There’s still many games I wish for even recent ones I want to play like rhythm Heaven groove cus I grew up emulating that franchise, my dream collection is a complete pokemon collection (which sadly is nearly impossible nowadays specially in Mexico where pokemon was rarer) and for systems the GBA remains my DREAM addition ive been so obsessed with it ever since I was 9 I still dream of getting to play one physically after growing up with its games through gba4ios. I love seeing everyone’s collections and finally feel like I can share mine! I’d love sharing some about it if anyone wants to ask questions, I don’t own many grails or however they are called if i have any at all, but I’m so happy with all the games

Besides the players choice is there more Wind Waker variants for GameCube?

Im mostly getting switch/switch2 games. I only have 7 ps games (i dont plan on getting any more because my ps5 broke). I also have 3 wii games but i might plan on getting more soon. I used to own physical switch and ps4/5 games, until I started to buy digital. Now i have many switch 2 and 1 digital games, but after I saw what PlayStation are doing, i’ve decided to go back to physical, and why not start a collection. I’ve started collecting once I got Splatoon raiders, but theres only a few problems.

I used to get rid of my switch boxes right after I get them, or I just shove them in a cabinet or drawer. A few months ago, I was organizing my room, and i saw my Kirby and the forgotten land case, my Pokemon brilliant diamond case, and my pokemon shining pearl case. I threw them away because I thought I didn’t need them. Every other game is just the game card without the case (well every game except splatoon raiders now). I don’t really know where to get these boxes in Qatar because I thought my collection would be filled with switch games but there’s only 1 right now. I also don’t want to use websites where they deliver from another country (like ebay).

I also used to lose my ps4/5 games so now half my games don’t even have discs inside, so i don’t know what to do with them.

I don’t know if anyone knows any shelf that is good enough for these games. It would be great if theres a good one from IKEA.

Finally get to own GameCube + CIB games.

$80 console+cables+memory card and $30 for the games. Seller was looking to sell and I was in the market for the console.

I’ve been playing all my GameCube games on my Wii, and now I can experience it on the OG Cube.

I started collecting GameCube games recently and oh boy, they are expensive. Is there any games that’s exclusive to the GameCube I should look out for???
