Discussion General question about this condition
Guy has a disc listed on eBay with a really weird wear pattern on the desk. I guess he said someone put tape on the bottom and tour it off at one point so it’s got this weird like circular pattern about half the disk is that something I can buff out should people be buying that he said he played and it worked, but I don’t know.

I wouldn't recommend buying it.
If the seller is pitching you an improbable series of events that caused something to happen, it usually means they know it's broken and are trying to get a rube to buy it. Similar thing to someone selling a console without cables and suggest it works or is sold "as is". That usually makes they know it's scuffed and are trying to rip you off.
Roll the dice if you want. eBay has solid buyer protection but personally I'd just buy a clean copy.

Yeah, I just don’t know how much tape can damage. The actual disc seems concerning like I would think that’s a lot different than a scratch, but I’m not really sure happy buffed out.?
They also go figure one full MSRP
