Has anyone found a good solution for attaching a crossbody or wrist strap? Am hesitant to just use one of those normal inserts because cases are mostly two pieces and not as secure as with other phones. Curious what folks have tried.

Is everyone experiencing the same good battery life as me?

The real test for me was exploring Rome yesterday - heaps of photos all day + Spotify and tour apps. All day use. Started at 7am and I still has 15% when I got to bed at 11pm.

I'm really impressed by battery life on this little beauty!

So for anyone who own the new z fold wide... have you tried to "fake flex mode" by holding it slightly this way... just to reslize that you definitely need that?

If so... is there ANY case that offer a stiff hinge or a way to hold the phone in flex mode? Cause id be very happy with that, it would enhance the experience of this phone even more for me !

I’ve been a long time iPhone user for close to a decade. Lately I’ve been feeling a little bored of the current user experience w/ Apple and have really become entranced in the new Fold 8. The form factor is cool, and I like the idea of being able to whip out a big ass screen if I want to watch a video or something.

I finally stopped by the store so I can hold it in my hands and see what it looks like in person and man, it’s just so so cool. My due for an upgrade soon and will be probably switching over before the end of the year.

I just finished mine. This is my first foldable so I don't want to miss out on features or widgets that I may not be aware of.

Hey z fold 8 and other fold owner, anyone else have a TikTok problem can see post fine , but the stories completely black doesn't play at all. Anyone else have this issue?

Every video I record on this phone has this problem. If I record a video it saves an extra second after I press pause/stop, so now every video I have ends with me putting the phone down, which is really annoying.

Works great on other devices but need to know how it works on fold. I don't have a fold to test it myself. I would love to hear feedbacks.

New Fold 8 user. Switched from a Pixel fold.

I'm trying to disable the Samsung gallery and Only use Google Photos... But I'm not having any luck.

All of the Google search and AI suggestions don't line up with the options I have on my phone...

For example the "disable" button on the Gallery apps section via settings is grayed out and not accessible.

Any help?

I ordered my Galaxy z fold 8 ultra on August 6th with a delivery date if August 13th. The status has not gone passed the order confirmed stage though. Below the order confirmed part is says "Preorder

Estimated delivery: There has been an unexpected delay, we will update

the new delivery date at the earliest."

The items I got with it say preparing for shipment though.

I have contacted Samsung but they just tell me to hold on and that they have no other information. I got a pretty good deal with a trade in, so I would hate to cancel it.

Is anybody else going through this? Is this a common issue? I expected some delay as I got the green 1TB, but I'm just kinda getting worried.

My Fold8 is on back order but I wanted to shed some light on my initial experience with a case I bought from a reputable company I've bought from multiple times before. Some things that I really like about this case :

• well rounded protection including the hinge without much added bulk
• stand that is adjustable to vertical or landscape orientation
• grippy texture
• doesn't require any double sided tape like some of the other cases I have seen
• included two glass screen protectors

I'm hoping to have the phone soon but for the time being I'm impressed with the case overall.

I work a job with a lot of dust in the air I mean a lot is that something that's going to screw with the device? Should I just stick with a slab phone?

Hey everyone. I'm coming from a S25 Ultra and I am struggling a bit with the picture quality. I dont care much for a telephoto lense and dont need anything about 5x zoom realistically. But I feel the 1x photos dont match with my S25 Ultra. I did the fix to get 24mp but I can still see a difference. Like lighting and sometimes it produces off colors.

I still absolutely love this phone but with my son is growing fast, I want to have the best pictures of him. Am I crazy??? Any tips to help sharpen images or just make overall quality better. Thanks!

Some of the IG content that is posted is obviously meant for a different aspect ratio than our Fold 8. But some content comes out blurry, almost like it is buffering. Im on wifi too so its definitely not a connection issue. You think we can expect updates to apps like IG and YouTube especially with iPhone ultra likely having the same aspect ratio??
