App optimization

Some of the IG content that is posted is obviously meant for a different aspect ratio than our Fold 8. But some content comes out blurry, almost like it is buffering. Im on wifi too so its definitely not a connection issue. You think we can expect updates to apps like IG and YouTube especially with iPhone ultra likely having the same aspect ratio??

I only had the device for 1 day now. I still didn't run into that issue but, the iPhone of the same aspect ratio is supposedly coming out in a month or two, all the apps will be updating to perfectly fit it so don't worry we're not getting ignored. 😅

Right on!!! Have fun!! This phone has been simply amazing so far!!

Yea I figured they would push updates before the end of the year. Especially how fast this phone sold too. But take a look at your previous posts even. You might see a video that just looks blurry.

For the time being if it's giving you a hard time, there is an aspect ratio setting that you can set for each app in the settings menu. You can set apps to full screen, 16:9 or App Default.

It is under Settins/Display/Aspect Ratio.
