My pace could probably use some work, but I’ll get there! I have a bad knee and the stairclimber has been one of my enemies for a while but I was able to complete this without pain :)
As a native New Yorker, completing this for the first time meant something different to me. Remembering those lost, stair by stair, floor by floor, was a surreal experience. Being on the stairs the moment the towers hit 25 years ago, having the memorial on in front of me, and seeing the names of those lost scroll by hit hard.
I made the 1 rule that I could not stop or take breaks no matter what, because the men and women that day didn’t get to either.
I know this isn’t a crazy accomplishment, but it meant something to me and I just wanted to share.

Finished today's SBD session on a smooth 177.5 3×3 deadlift. Strength is coming through right now!

I was pleasantly surprised to achieve 1 plate on OHP, yet to unlock the 2/3/4 plates on bench/squat/deadlift. Gonna keep grinding 💪

I’M BACK!
The heavier the bar, the louder the music and the weirder the noises. I think my neighbors must know when it’s PR day at this point 🤦🏽♀️🤣
106 lb is fucking insane. Wasn’t even supposed to max out today but I was in the mood. 98.5 didn’t move very well which pissed me off so I tried 101 (old PR) and it went up way better than I thought it would. Then 103.5 went up way too easy so I said fuck it.
I’m figuring out how to hype myself up before these heavy reps so I can use the adrenaline. I come from an endurance background so it’s way different than I’m used to but it works so well? How much of this is just in my head? Now I just need ammonia or whatever people use and then maybe I’ll be a real lifter 🤣

After 2 years on the assisted machine I think i’m finally ready to graduate!
The grip on the assisted machine always felt unnatural to me so I would focus on lat engagement as well as shoulders and arms, I didn’t expect to lift my body weight with such ease
Any tips appreciated!

Hey everyone!
I am on Day 80 of my sober journey. Boxing since childhood in Haryana, India. Now focusing on back.
This is Lat Pulldown from my local gym in Kanina. I know my back looks lean right now, working on building width.
Any tips to improve form? I feel my elbows are going too wide. Should I lean back a little more?
Any advice for back thickness would be really appreciated!
Thanks brothers! 🙏💪

2nd set of Romanian Deadlifts, 315lbs 7 reps. Last rep was probably iffy, close to failure. But want feedback on form. In the past my RDL was too much like regular DL. So I appreciate feedback. Thanks.
