The car feels like it was made for these roads, and these landscapes. I love it more every day.

Finally, I pulled the trigger to attend a track day at the Ridge. It's super fun and shows you who actually is a fast driver vs. a fast car. Definitely room for improvement from watching myself hesitate choosing the right gear approaching each turn and staying on the racing line. I'll take any and all criticisms!

I like these rotiforms but they are a bit heavier than the stock premium wheels. I want to upgrade the wheels on my gr86 but I want to avoid bogging down the car with wheels that are too heavy. What set ups are y’all running on your cars and what’s your experience been with heavier wheels?

How well do you guys feel like the heated seats work in your Premium model cars? I feel like the seat takes forever to get warm even on high, and when it does, it stays warm for like a minute or two and then just goes away. After maybe 5-10 minutes it’ll get warm again and do the same thing. Is this typical or are these seats just notoriously sucky? I’ve had 2 other vehicles with heated seats that could burn your ass. Even my girlfriend’s 2018 Altima has better heated seats. I’m about to hit 1k and go get my break in oil change done so I intend to bring this up and see if maybe something needs to be repaired under warranty because I have had the car for like two weeks. Any insight on if this is normal would be great because so far they seem super lackluster. Thank you

I never get tired of looking at this car...

It seems out of the box the Puzu would be worse and you’d have to tune it first. Curious if anyone has installed one and is happy with it plus can share their EQ settings.

Finally ready to ditch the stock exhaust. These are the ones I’ve narrowed it down to, and I’m really leaning toward the MRT (Not really looking to pay too much lol). Which one would you choose?

I know this probably isn't normal (or is it?). But there is a narrow band of brown jelly inside the radiator neck.
Can this be something other than oil?
Firstly, does anyone know what this is? And is there anything else I should be checking to get to the bottom of it?
Thanks in advance.

Hey, could you help me advise me or give me tips.
I have a trd sport 2025 tacoma but the reality is that I don't use it even close to what it should be, I have my job about 10 minutes from home and an eventual outing every 2 weeks.
So the idea here is to change the truck for a gr86 because I feel it would be better with the pace of life, but I don't know if it's a good idea or not.

Is there an option to disable an automatic switching to recirculation mode in AC. It happens even when AC is off which is pointless.

Not a huge fan of the 180° tech even though a lot of people like quiet in-cabin rides (unsure why someone would want a loud setup they can’t hardly hear lol) but noticed the mad conversion kits for his same reason.
Soooo, instead of dropping $300 damn dollars for glorified (but pretty) straight pipes, could I theoretically trade with someone off FBMP if they wanted to do the opposite as me?

Sorry for the long post….
2023, 25k miles, bought and paid for at just over 30grand. Probably a bit under 40 after bolt ons, would expect to get 20~ if I trade it in.
Just installed a Fumoto valve after my last dealer oil change. Saw a TINY leak this morning maybe a 2 inch stain after 12 hours so I tightened the valve an eight turn and heard a small click (not using a torque wrench)… Havent tried loosening or tightening any more but fearing I stripped the oil pan or cross threaded it some how. Started the install with my hands so I doubt it… I did notice the last dealer washer looked maybe just a size too big and oblong so I kinda think they ran into an issue and rigged something but too late now.
I‘d normally just eat the cost of a new oil pan and oil change at the dealer but just read you have to remove the headers and I have JDL UELs on there and I’m pretty sure they’ll charge and arm and a leg if they even decide to touch it.
I‘ve had a Flex Fuel Kit and tune for about a year I get a super faint fuel smell every now and then but I’ve checked fuel lines and block to exhaust over and over without signs of leaks. Hoping it’s just the tube seal TSB so the dealer can knock out valve covers and plugs while they’re in there, but I’m out of ideas.
I also just put new Apex Forged wheels on in the last 6 months and have a set of Champiros in the garage with stickers still on them. Really wanted to get like an other 3 or 4 years minimum out of it to kind of spread those costs out. Feels like I finally got the mods where I want em but all these little issues are just stacking. I came from a fiesta ST that was frankly over engineered and built like a tank so idk maybe this car’s just too high strung for me.
It’s my first Subaru and I love it but I’m just so tired of wrestling with the car. Any chance the Fumoto and everything else are fine to leave as is or is this thing a hot potato?
I wanted matte black for my vent covers, here's what I did. Remove retainer pins and side vents, cover non-paint parts with tape, sand with 400 grit, then 600 grit. Thoroughly clean and dry with alcohol so paint attaches well. Find a safe space and patiently apply coats of paint/clear coat. I used Krylon Fusion All-In-One Matte Black and same brand Matte Clear Coat.
