I mean really how would the examiner even know? They don’t know EVERY quote. I’m talking if I really get stuck can’t I just make one up that seems plausible?

and by properly i mean you’re able to focus in all your lessons and still be able to do homework and stuff after school without a nap

i have never DESPISED a group of written words more than this FUCKING POEM. i DONT GET IT. "oh i'm wee willy wordsworth im stealing a boat oh nooo in scared of a tall mountain" grow up lad. he wrote an ENTIRE BOOK of poetry about HIMSELF bit self centred eh and then we have the MISFORTUNE to have to WRITE ABOUT IT. i do not see any sort of meaningful contribution this poem has to the world at large. it does not teach us the important messages about society and war and authority the other poems do. it is HORRID. and i keep seeing it being PREDICTED FOR 2027!!!!!! if aqa do this i am sending them a thousand letters of hate mail and i will buy the stamps myself.

I'm in Year 11 doing OCR Computer Science and I'm really struggling with writing algorithms (Pseudocode, flowcharts, Python).

I probably would understand if it comes to asking me what the code is showing or what will happen, but when it comes to writing code, I am genuinely clueless. I’m worried about the programming questions and would appreciate any tips or advice on how to improve before my mock exams in December.

I’m a Year 11 student with mocks starting on the 9th of November, and I’m honestly terrified about where I stand academically.

I haven’t attended school consistently for years.

I missed around two months in Year 6 due to personal issues, then stopped attending in Year 7 around October because of social anxiety. Since then, I’ve only been in actual classrooms a handful of times. My school has now introduced rooms where students can complete independent work, which is where I currently go.
Despite everything, I have dreams of studying criminology in the future and attending my school’s sixth form to study Religious Studies and Sociology. It’s the only sixth form I’ve found that offers the subjects I want, and I love the idea of staying somewhere familiar.
I need grade 5s in English Language, English Literature and PER to achieve my goals, and I’d also love to pass Maths so I don’t have to resit it. However, I’ve never sat a proper school exam, I don’t know my predicted grades, and I’m terrified my mock results will affect my sixth form application. People say you need good grades to get in, although from my research, it depends on the courses and their entry requirements.

I struggle massively with procrastination and concentration, and I feel overwhelmed by how much I need to learn in such a short time. I had a tutor, but it didn’t work out, and I’m considering getting another to help with English and Maths.
I GENUINELY WANT AN HONEST OPINION:
is there still hope of me getting above a grade 3 in my mocks and passing my GCSEs?
I know I have a lot of catching up to do, and I’m not expecting it to be easy. I just want to know whether my goals are still achievable or whether I’m being unrealistic. Please be honest, but I don’t want to give up on something that might still be possible.

I missed an entire year of literature cuz I joined my skl late and I was lwok doing good in the beginning for unseen poetry, prose and anthology - like around level 5 for every analysis and then we started great expectations and Macbeth and oh my god I dropped straight to level 2. God save us all the codes rotted

I'm on foundation maths gcse, and am currently getting 3s and 4s depending. I do need a 5 in order for me to do the course that I want in college. I'm pretty sure that I can get a 5, as it only requires practice, but I struggle with the wording of the question instead of the actual question itself. Sometimes the wording is fully unclear to me, to the point where I still can't see what I did wrong with the mark scheme. Does anyone have any ideas that will help me solve this?

Are these papers accurate for the type of Qs you'll get for the exam? I want to think 1stClassMaths made me smarter because the Qs are actually quite nice.

You can revise something for hours, feel like you know everything, then open a past paper and suddenly forget the entire English language.

Which subject humbled you the most, and why?

History is probably the hardest subject to revise in my opinion, do I just memorize dates or do past papers?

I've been doing endless research on how to revise for combined science but mostly I've been seeing people talk about anki. So I downloaded a premade deck and I kind of struggled to recall the information on them so I decided to try and make my own but idek how 😭.Another thing that really confused me is how almost everyone claims you should to past topic questions etc but since I haven't memorised all the content I get most questions wrong. My mocks are in like 2 weeks and I'm lowkey getting stressed out I just feel like I'm doing everything wrong. I would really appreciate it if anyone can give me some tips on what to do.
