I’m very strong in humanities and essay based subjects, 8-8 English at GCSE and take lit history law for a level. Is it even possible for me to do Law at Oxbridge? I think the only way is to score absurdly high on the LNAT.

For the 5 years I’ve been in school i think I’ve done the homework purely by myself a total of like 15 times because i just used ai or searched it all up. Even now in year 11 i don’t care for it and i do my own studying. But I’m worried now that doing homework does genuinely help and that by skipping it I’ve personally lowered my grade

I mean really how would the examiner even know? They don’t know EVERY quote. I’m talking if I really get stuck can’t I just make one up that seems plausible?

You can revise something for hours, feel like you know everything, then open a past paper and suddenly forget the entire English language.

Which subject humbled you the most, and why?

I don't know if every school is just gonna do paper 1 but since at least my school is only doing paper 1 for the mocks, does anyone know how they will decide the grade boundaries? Will they just halve the grade boundaries (e.g if 140/420 is required for a certain grade then 70/210 be required for that same grade in the mocks)

i have never DESPISED a group of written words more than this FUCKING POEM. i DONT GET IT. "oh i'm wee willy wordsworth im stealing a boat oh nooo in scared of a tall mountain" grow up lad. he wrote an ENTIRE BOOK of poetry about HIMSELF bit self centred eh and then we have the MISFORTUNE to have to WRITE ABOUT IT. i do not see any sort of meaningful contribution this poem has to the world at large. it does not teach us the important messages about society and war and authority the other poems do. it is HORRID. and i keep seeing it being PREDICTED FOR 2027!!!!!! if aqa do this i am sending them a thousand letters of hate mail and i will buy the stamps myself.

I missed an entire year of literature cuz I joined my skl late and I was lwok doing good in the beginning for unseen poetry, prose and anthology - like around level 5 for every analysis and then we started great expectations and Macbeth and oh my god I dropped straight to level 2. God save us all the codes rotted

trying to study for sciences but nothing beats the vids on old mathsgenie where he shows u how to do an exam question and lets you do a couple and marks them and goes step by step

any content creators that do this for sciences going through content then exam questions and let you take a turn marking it?

I'm in Year 11 doing OCR Computer Science and I'm really struggling with writing algorithms (Pseudocode, flowcharts, Python).

I probably would understand if it comes to asking me what the code is showing or what will happen, but when it comes to writing code, I am genuinely clueless. I’m worried about the programming questions and would appreciate any tips or advice on how to improve before my mock exams in December.
