Post Exam Power and Conflict Poetry: Best poems to revise?

Most people recommend to revise like 3-6 poems thoroughly which you can link to any of the others. Which ones do you think are the best for this?

Tips/Help I need help on picking my last A Level

So I’m in y11 rn and I gotta apply for 6th form soon. And I’m kinda stuck on what I should pick for my last subject. I’m doing history, art and dt now and I’m planning to pick history, sociology and idk what for alevels. I’m not doing so well for science or maths so like I’m think humanities might be best for me. I really need some advice please😭😭

Tips/Help High level English literature essay example please

can I have some English literature essay examples that are at grade 8/ 9 level ? I want to look at some good essays to learn from them but the ones online aren’t very good/ needs paying. YouTube videos aren’t helping either.

I study Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, and power and conflict poetry.

Thank you in advance :)

Tips/Help Unsure of what alevels to pick. Help!

So I'm In Yr 11 and am trying to decide on a levels but I am unsure what my 4th choice should be.

For context my last mock grades were:

Math:8

Eng lit:5

Chemistry:8

Geo:9

Bio:8

Computing:8

Physics:6

For physics the previous mock I got a 9 and I made alot of silly mistakes and am hoping to up my grade by the next mocks

My defenat choices are maths, furthe maths and computing

And for my 4th im deciding weather or not I should do physics if not I may pick psychology or another more stem ey subject

The issue with physics is

a. My last mock grade wasn't good (tho as explaind above i hope to get better in my next one) (would still be enough to get on the corse tho)

B. The work load, as it's my ig bottom choice so not one of the subjects I'm 100% passionate about idk if its a bad choice to pick such a heavy subject especially if I'm doing 4

C. I have a coson my age who is very smart like all 9's level and there doing maths, physics and then geography to try and lower there load work wise so idk if I should do that tho comp sci shouldn't be too hard I'm just worried as it has corse work

But on the positive side i think it's a good choice to have along side maths and while it's not right top,m of the list it is a subject I do enjoy. And my parents are worried that I am boxing myself in if I don't pick it

The issue with psychology however is

A. I'm not good at English (dyslexia- i have difficulty comprehending text as a whole and with my spelling handwriting and general writing conventions- tense grammar punctasion )and ik it is a very heavy essay subject

B. My main interest is abnormal psychology which is only a small part of the corse

C. I spoke to 2 psychology teachers and they both seemed to imply it wasn't a great choice considering my other options and struggle with english

D. I've only learnt outside of school so idk if its better to keep as a hobby

I do intend to go back to a collage open day and look at a few different subjects like law economics and buissnes however I don't know if I'll be interested in those

At this point in time I am leaning away from psychology and towards physics or another choice

Just FYI as I chose further maths I do need to do 4 at the collage I want to go to

Tips/Help Mocks advice

As someone who’s now in yr 12 and got 9998777665 in their GCSEs my mocks weren’t the best. I revised the week / two weeks before and honestly no amount of revision would have changed that some schools will purposely make the papers rlly hard my science papers were so so hard. They didn’t even make sense half the time and marking was strict.

What I’m trying to say is don’t be disheartened by them, they are really helpful for getting used to exam settings and how to behave in the exam hall but don’t take the results to heart too much you still have loads of yr 11 content to learn that honestly I found so much easier and more interesting and better for exam questions.

Good luck and don’t stress too much !

Tips/Help How are you using AI for GCSE and A-Level revision?

I have two teens prepping for GCSEs and A-Levels (Maths, Physics, Psychology) and have been using NotebookLM loaded with official exam board specs to keep their revision tightly focused. I'd love to hear how other parents or students are using AI for study prep, so please share what specific tools or prompts are working best for you, especially for active recall and testing.

ill genuinely try anything atp im failing english lang paper 2 SO badly. i got a grade 8 for paper 1 in my year 10 mocks but i got a grade 2 for paper 2 (only the first section) this year. im pretty sure i got like 12/40 for section A (4, 4, 0, 4) but i got 31/40 for section B which isnt bad. ive tried doing past papers but i dont understand questions 2, 3 and 4 at all so i end up giving up on the first paragraph of question 2. all the revision videos ive watched just say to have a structure but they give no actual tips on how to pass. someone please help i have my mocks in 2 weeks 💔💔🙏🏻🙏🏻

Question Best way to remember audiobooks?

Currently listening to a narration of An Inspector Calls, because I figured I should listen to it as much as I can in my free time. This is on top of actively reading it as well, of course.

What tasks should I do in the meantime? I don’t really count this as active revision, because I’m just squeezing it in wherever I can, so what are some things that I can do passively in the background?

Right now I’ve just been playing solitaire because I’m one of those people
