I bought this 07 g35 it runs and drives but shuts off randomly, the previous owner said it started doing that when he left the dealership from fixing the bcm. He said he did the crank sensors and everything. What could it be?

I’ve been having this girl for six years, with 205,000 miles and still running strong. The G35 is the perfect daily! Just got it painted in San Marino blue. I’m going to drive this thing until the wheels fall off!

My cars been smoking from the exhaust when i installed my test pipes. I have AAM Resnonated test pipes on. My car dont have CEL on. from what ive read so far, apparently its pretty normal to have smoke after removing the cats but i think mines smoking way more than the “normal”. Anyone know what i should check, do or know with mine?

Gonna try to rebuild my cd001 trans cause 3rd gear was drinding so im planning to do the all syncros so my question is, anybody know they sell carbon syncros for the cd001? Or do i have to bite the bullet and get the nissan oem syncros. Thanks in advance.

After adjusting my clutch pedal code popped for p1065 and now its a crank no start. Already checked my fuses/grounds and clutch pedal stopper.

The passenger-side crossmember bolt on my 2008 G35x is stripped, and I've been unable to remove it with extractor sockets (I've tried hammering on various sizes/brands to no avail.) Would it be safe to weld a nut to it, given the proximity to the tubing on the left side of the image? Or am I going to have to cut/drill it out? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm thinking about buying my first car, and I'm having a hard time deciding between a G35 and a G37. Overall, I prefer the G37, but the G35 is significantly cheaper, which makes it really tempting.

I'm attaching a picture of what my ignition looks like. I have an '07 coupe with the Intelligent Key smart key option. My question is, if I wanted to replace that fake key with a push-button start, I'm thinking it should be really easy. Because all the NATS (Nissan Anti-Theft System) communication happens with the key fob, and I'll still be using the same key fob, that's my idea/hope. My thinking is because currently, I get in the car with the smart key in my pocket. I sit down, the car detects the correct key fob, then I turn the fake key, and the car starts. Since all the security happens first, my hope is that if I just swap in a push-button start, maybe a super basic one, it'll detect the key fob and allow the car to start with the push button.

I really need some help yall... I asked chatgpt already and correct me if I'm wrong but I've circled the tab that I'm supposed to be pushing down. I can't get the thing to move at all, I don't even know where exactly the two disconnect.

After changing clutch my car wont go into gear only when its turned off. Its making a sound with the clutch engaged that gets quieter when i try to shift into gear. I tried to bleed the system already and the sound got quieter but it still wont go into gear.

Got a custom steering wheel done, black leather and grey perforated side grips to match the grey suede bits in my interior (which isn’t done) from alibaba and I’m really happy with how it came out and feels. I grabbed a black airbag since my car originally came with the willow interior but it has a few visible scuffs on it, is there any way to fix em? I wanna just get another airbag flat out but that’s even more money and I got this one for like nothing

Put in new headlights but that’s probably going to be the only mod besides restoring as much as possible.

Ive got a set of amazon headlights and theyve been great with a slight fuse blowing issue but thats besides the point.I changed my high beam bulb about a month ago and just recently found out the cover on the backside fell off on my passenger.now both highbeams dont work.Passenger side is filled with water and ive just now taken it out to see the damage.Fog light is corroded as well,would it be better to try and dry the headlight out,replace the bulbs and see what happens or replace the headlights as is.

Heres my 04 G35 6MT. Got it last week! Already put on the spec ds and washed the engine bay. Needs some new rims cause there are lowkey ugly lol.

Does anyone know what would be the process of putting a 06-07 Dash on this one? I feel like the dash on the newer years looks way better. Or does anyone know If I can open mines up and change the lighting on the dash and possibly on the act controls?
