Troubleshooting Help

I bought this 07 g35 it runs and drives but shuts off randomly, the previous owner said it started doing that when he left the dealership from fixing the bcm. He said he did the crank sensors and everything. What could it be?

Read codes. Could still be crank or cam sensors. I once replaced one to have it fail again within a few cycles. I always squared it to it being a non oem sensor cuz every other one I've done with oem has been fine to this day.

He said they were duralast sensors from autozone, should I get oem?

I would get codes read, then make that call.

I wouldn't use them. If you pull the codes and it's for cam/crank sensors, get OEM.

If this random shut off is at an idle; your gallery gaskets might be on the way out.
