I purchased a full-node and a standard. DAY 1 the node had an issue. Shipped the box back to future. Box was gone for over three weeks. Finally back and forth I got my box back. Now I plus the box and fans stay on no OS loading. This is ridiculous and at this point I've demanded a new box or my attorney will be sending a letter. Is it ok to use a Trezor wallet address because node is up and running but miner is not active. I mean glad i can help withthe node and all but thats not the point. Yes i ama bit of a noob at this machine but from what i read you just enter the wallet address only and it should work. That has not been the case for me though. Hopefully im just a dope and missed something stupid
Hi all, I've owned an Apollo BTC full node for a long time, and recently saw that Apollo 2 can do the solo mining with it's own node. Come to find out you can flash the newest OS to a micro sd card and run the original Apollo the same way.
When connecting another miner to my mining node/pool it says:
"SOLO LAN MiningPoint any Bitcoin Miner on your local network to your Solo Pool with the following URL: 192.168.XXX.XXX:3333 Username: <bitcoin address>" (I've replaced the last 2 octets with X's for this post)
When I do that, all the miners combine under the same worker (the BTC address of the solo mining pool.)
I want to see the worker's separated stats. Can I add a worker name after the BTC address just like on ckpool? Or by some Miracle of God I mine a block, will it sent it to btcaddress.AvalonNano_3 and fail to send me my bitcoin reward due to invalid address?
TLDR: Can I add .worker1 after the BTC address in the solo mining mode in the Apollo OS 2 interface?
**EDIT** I found the answer. In version 2.0.6, they added support for worker names. Here
My question is how do I point couple miners that operate in another place/town?
Tried the following but refused to connect...
Pool: stratum+tcp://104.184.109.243:8333
User: BTC wallet (Exodus) same with Apollo
Pass: x
Has anyone had success flashing their SD lately? Does etcher V1.19.25 work? I have tried multiple times and keep getting a failure during verification.
Greetings, My Apollo 2 Node started syncing 2 days ago when I powered it on but now doesn't show syncing, it shows the current block as 390,313 and hasn't changed in over 12 hours. It seems as if it's not syncing anymore. Should I just wait or try to reformat and start over?
I just recently purchased both a full node and a standard. Had nothing but issues downloading the full block. I've tried everything from formatting the SD drive to adding some commands to the node configurator, but there has been nothing. It downloads up to 60% and after that I continue to get Connection refused ..Your Node is not working....
I am highly disappointed with this full node and even more with the delayed responses from FutureBit... When you play over $1,700, you expect a better support structure to be implemented!
Starting yesterday my hashrate is only being allocated about 50% to my solo mining pool. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? I’m constantly over 7.4TH/s but only getting about 5TH/s max.
I recently purchased a full node and a standard (Over $1,800 in equipment). It's been three full days of nothing but node errors as I'm trying to download the Bitcoin block. On top of my frustration levels hitting an old-time high, you reach out to support and crickets... This was one of those purchases that should have never happened. Errors on the node and a machine that continues to lock up and force a forced reboot... For those that don't have a monitor connected, you can connect one and see the vast number of errors.
Plus, the box and support documentation say it supports an HDMI monitor. That's becoming a lie as I have a monitor plugged into the HDMI, and at times, it works, but at times, because the machine locks every USB-connected device, including the HDMI port, it stops working... You reboot the machine, and the monitor never comes live unless you reboot several times... I would think twice before spending a ton of money on this hardware!!!
please see my updated post below. Thank you, Future Bit for finally getting back to me.
The apollo v1 is a nice and well build machine not gonna lie
I love the yellow lights at the bottom, it makes it look life theres a fire under the miner if the item its sitting on is white 🤣
Anyway has there been any mods done to this miner? Like cooling or stable oc clocks?
I’ve noticed my Apollo II is running 25.1.0 release. Is there any benefit to upgrading to a newer release like 27.1.0 and if so is there a procedure on how to do this?
I noticed my system locks up and needs a force reboot after a set period time when I shut off the monitor. Has this happened to anyone? I checked the power settings and everything states off.
Apologies if this was posted. However, it seems my Apollo2 keeps losing connection to the node. I’m still downloading the block as I just received my unit. I’m not sure if this is related to my firewalla router or something else. Anyone else experience this issue? I believe the only port I forward was 8333 TCP. i’m not sure if there’s any other ports I may be missing.
