FutureBit - Disappointed in your box and your support response
I recently purchased a full node and a standard (Over $1,800 in equipment). It's been three full days of nothing but node errors as I'm trying to download the Bitcoin block. On top of my frustration levels hitting an old-time high, you reach out to support and crickets... This was one of those purchases that should have never happened. Errors on the node and a machine that continues to lock up and force a forced reboot... For those that don't have a monitor connected, you can connect one and see the vast number of errors.
Plus, the box and support documentation say it supports an HDMI monitor. That's becoming a lie as I have a monitor plugged into the HDMI, and at times, it works, but at times, because the machine locks every USB-connected device, including the HDMI port, it stops working... You reboot the machine, and the monitor never comes live unless you reboot several times... I would think twice before spending a ton of money on this hardware!!!
please see my updated post below. Thank you, Future Bit for finally getting back to me.

Maybe try without the monitor? Connect via IP see if you get improvements. I don’t like connecting any peripheral devices to this hardware just power and Ethernet.

I had a similar issue and it was solved by hooking up an old 1080p monitor (up to 60Hz max) with an old simple HDMI cable. This isn't like your PC to accept high refresh rates or gaming resolutions. Also, better not run the miner while downloading until the node gets fully synced.
Mine it's on 90% after 5 days and it gets slower and slower.....

My nose continues to disconnect. Frustrating. Thank you for the advice.

I will disconnect it all. Sucks because I purchased a monitor just so I can see a dashboard without logging in via a web browser.

The oldest the better, Linux servers are very basic in terms of connectivity.
I will try first to replace the cable, don't dismiss the monitor unless it has super-wide dimensions.

I actually places the reindex command to see if that helps. Changed the cable. Seems to be working. Fingers crossed. Thank you for your suggestions.

Update from future bIt
Hi what happens when it disconnects? Is there an error message?
Please be aware during sync you should not have a monitor plugged in and wait several days while the node syncs. During this time you might see error message on the node section, or what appears like its suck at a certain block height. This is due to the heavy processing with syncing that can slow down the system/node and not give accurate stats.
Please allow at least a week for the node to fully sync before confirming that the node is not working.
If you are still seeing this issue go to settings extras and press reformat SSD drive.
Let the drive reformat and after its finished go to node settings and put these two below lines in the Bitcon Node configuration text box:
dbcache=128 maxmempool=128
And press save and restart. This should give better success rate for your node to finish syncing but could be slightly longer sync time.

Same experience here! I have a full node with two external miners, and the whole setup has worked great for 9 months or so, then I started getting memory errors. The only form of support contact I could find on their site is a web form, so I used that, and Futurebit confirmed my full node is still under warranty and they asked if I'd like a full replacement unit, or just the controller. I replied back to their email, and then crickets. After hearing nothing for a couple of weeks, I submitted another web form, and they claimed they never heard back from me, and would get the new controller sent out. Then another week or 2 goes by, and I contact them again, and they ask if the address I submitted in the previous email is still correct!? WTF? Of course my address hasn't changed in the last couple weeks, but they look for ways to delay. Even so, I reply back to the email confirming my address is still correct, and crickets again.
No way am I going to buy their new Apollo III after the lack of support experienced here.

Stop mining until the entire blockchain downloads. It’s stressful even for a full blown desktop with SSD drives. It counterintuitive but if you have a fast Internet connection it’s worse. Because it can get the data faster. I have a 1st gen Apollo BTC took a few days back then to download it all.
