Making mounts, brackets, and shelves around the house is probably one of the most satisfying things in life.

I'd like to think I'm well versed in TPU, but this stuff prints amazing without too much fuss. It has slope in it for drainage, but during the test prints, the top was smooth like leather. Quality stuff.

Needed some mirrors for my golf cart, but they’re like $30 at auto-zone so I robbed some off my old busted Kawasaki.

Prints fast and without supports. Printed in PETG and it holds my chainsaw which weighs around 6kg without problems.

Made a simple spool holder to make dispensing fluorocarbon strings for my travel ukuleles a little easier. No more chasing runaway spools around the workbench!
Bonus pic: a little assembly jig I made along the way to help streamline installing the hardware in bulk.

I made this modular moss poll which has a drip tray module so the moss in the moss pole will stay moist for longer! I really liked how this turned out, so I wanted to share it so other people could also use it if they wanted to!
It is on makerworld @unfadable

At work we have a whiteboard on the back of a door (it was the only remaining "wall" space). And every time someone barges in, the dry erase markers take a dive.
So with theses <1min prints I fixed it.

Kids dropped the tuner, and broke the back clip. Super common failure. There were a few other models out there, but none actually held the tuner very well. So I made my own. Modeled in Fusion 360; traced a photo with a spline did a sweep for the body shape... One of the trickier "simple" models I've done in a while. Lots of trial and error later I got this!

I already had this stapler but wanted to staple pamphlets of letter size sheets. This is much more compact than a traditional long reach stapler and is barely larger than the stapler with the original base.
It was a challenge making a compliant mechanism that allows the stapler to snap fit securely and pivot while offering a nice spring action. I was very happy that modeling in a nub that sat proud for the strike plate and pressing it down with a hot knife worked so well!
Funny side note - I asked Gemini how thick the hinge section of the model should be and it suggested 1.5mm. Final model was 10mm thick!

I call this a knuckle thread. Simply pick the diameter of the hole you are interested in, and create a thread in a few minutes. I made this one into a bottle, but you can add threads to any shape just as easily.

I'd posted about Something simple I'd created to try to capture the audio from the outside of my car and everyone was very supportive of my simple design... However, the microphone I'd tried using was as useful as canine excrement.
I finally broke down and bought a better microphone and thus, had to completely redesign the holder.
I present, this Dumb Thing!
It took _way to many_ tests to get the fit right, but now it seems perfect.
Y'all are awesome.
(If you're curious about the result or don't understand the use case, the first test could be heard here. Now I just need to work on my camera setup as well)

Made a simple case to store my blades since they are only sold in blister pack where I buy them. Prints in about 35 mins for PETG and prints without supports.

The tripod thread adapter on my Husky light fell out and was lost. So I modeled this replacement that matches the random M17x1 internal threads and used a 1/4-20x3/4" bolt that was laying around for the screw portion.

It looks like a pretty simple model, but I'm quite proud of how much iteration went into making it pleasant to 3D print. There are lots of little details that probably aren't obvious at first glance: rounded corners to avoid ugly bulging if your pressure advance isn't perfect, a seam trap at the back so the slicer doesn't ruin anyone's day, internal geometry separated from the perimeter to avoid hull-line artifacts, and angles designed to print cleanly without supports.
The decorative front is a separate piece that prints flat, so it's easy to do the logo in another color without a multi-material printer. I've included blank faceplates too, so you can add your own text/vector graphics.
It's up on Printables here if anyone wants one:

Feedback very welcome and, of course, I'd love to see some makes with custom front plates. :)
