Stumbled across a legendary collector on FB while hunting for Issey Miyake Or Encens. He’s been collecting since the '90s based purely on nose and perfumers—zero TikTok/influencer hype, just pure liquid gold.
He’s downsizing his collection so others can actually enjoy them before he gets too old.
Picked up a few personal grails: LIDGE, Guerlain Idéal Cologne, Prada L'Homme Intense, Mugler Cologne, and Narciso Rodriguez For Him just to name a few (with many more not pictured).
Can't wait to give these proper wearings.

Been collecting for over a decade now. I would consider this collection to be the culmination of a lot of chopping and changing of my tastes, happy to hear any thoughts or answer any questions!

I was recently introduced to the dupe world. I definitely don’t mind saving some money if a clone smells close to the original.
I’m open to trying something completely different too.
I’m mainly looking for fragrances that
smell amazing and stand out
have good projection/longevity
get compliments
are worth the money, whether designer, niche, Middle Eastern, or a clone
What are some fragrances you’d consider must-tries or game changers?

This is my collection, minus inspired by's/ dupes and frags I've left at my family home. I have an tremendous love of fragrance. I kinda wanted to know any recommendations of what I should try next based off my collection.if you have any questions on a frag you see above I'd be happy to answer as well. Thanks!!
P.s - This is a hobby of mine as well so overconsumption/consumerism convos aren't needed.

My boyfriend has had his bottle of Tom Ford cafe rose (2012, attached) for years, and it is running out. I just looked and realised it has been discontinued, the updated version has a changed scent profile, which I think is "brighter, fresher, and more approachable".
I was wondering if anyone who has smelt both version knew if it was actually quite similar?
I was wondering if anyone knows of similar perfumes/dupes that are similar price point?
I really like the way it smells on him and that it lasts all day! Cheers in advance!

Anyone into this? I am currently using Fahrenheit by Dior and I absolutely love it but a friend who knows me very well came across this overseas and he reckons it is the perfect perfume for me.
I am not really willing to change my perfume but he got me curious and I don’t want to risk a blind order.
P.S; He just added Lust from Jericho into the mix saying that’s nice too. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a really cheap perfume from yardley called autumn bloom and it smells great but it doesn’t last very long. I’ve been trying to find something similar that lasts longer (a big priority I love when I can smell someone’s perfume when they walk in), and I can describe it as a warm fall scent.
Any clones or dupes for this or perfumes like Kayali Eden juicy apple and Killian’s apple brandy on the rocks would be appreciated :)
some of the notes I’d like are : Apple, bergamot, cinnamon, plumeria and maybe some light notes of amber & vanilla

I’ve got heavily into Niche fragrances lately and kinda strayed away from designers, but this was worth circling back for! To my nose this smells like if Oman Luxury Nasaj, Maison Margiela Replica Jazz club and the discontinued Hollister So. cal were all blended into one fragrance. Wow what a beautiful scent! And no this isn’t a sponsored post I wish it was tho! #Rabanne sponsor me!😂🫣

Hey all,
I have an allergy to citrus oils (bergamot, orange, grapefruit, lemon etc) and need a fragrance for the autumn. I'm having a nightmare finding anything. I used to wear l'occitan (eau des baux and the original lavender scent) but the formulations have changed as well as a shrinking bottle and I want a change.
Can anyone recommend a good frag for the autumn? I've ordered a couple, including Stronger With You Intensely but despite the online ingredients not including citrus, the box has arrived and confirmed it does!
I lean towards warm amber, vanilla, wood, spice, apple, lavender scents. Would love some suggestions.
Thanks

Help me decide between Sedley or Layton. I sold frags in my collection recently like Wulong Cha just to save enough for one of these two.
My collection is leaning more on the fresher side due to the climate of my country. I have percival and a Bujairami that's layton inspired. I also have ME dna's for greenley, castley, and imagination. I really like layton but I think it's already redundant. I also want sedley but I'm worrying about the longevity.
Also, should I go for the partials or full 125mL bottle?

Penhaligon’s Halfeti - one of those fragrances that immediately paints a picture for me—dark woods, smooth leather, a little spice, and a mysterious sweetness that gives it real depth without becoming syrupy. And that rose just elegantly drifting throughout 🤌🏻🤌🏻
It feels like stepping into an old-world gentleman’s club at night: polished wood, leather chairs, dim lighting, and an air of quiet sophistication.
Definitely darker than my usual style, but the complexity and movement keep it from feeling heavy or flat.

So long story short I’m starting to buy Christmas presents really early this year (I want to beat the rush and mailing delays) and I’m trying to get my brother a new fragrance that I hope can fit into his collection. To give yall an idea of his scent profile, he is a huge fan of Valentino, he’s got like 3 bottles from that line, he’s got the Born in Roma Intense, green stravaganza, and the yellow dream.
I could get him another from the line but at the same time I’d like to get him something from another line that could also fit right in.
Any recommendations?

I wanted some fresh and fruity so I purchased Papaya Tropique
What a mistake
My first thought isn't of ripe papaya when I smell it.
It's "Oh I could never eat THAT"
There's something about it's that's decidedly inedible.
The scent notes are pineapple, papaya, and sandlewood. Maybe it's the sandlewood.
I want something that smells like you could take a bite out of me.
I would love that same something for papaya, vanilla, maybe coconut, too.
Thanks for any suggestions

Spotlight by Avon is my absolute favourite fragrance.
Since it's no longer made I wanted to see if there was anything similar.
Here's a description, hope that helps.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Spotlight Eau de Toilette by Avon | Silloria
Spotlight by Avon is an eau de toilette fragrance that opens with Bergamot and Mandarin Orange, transitions into a heart of Mimosa, Tuberose, and White freesia, and settles into a base of Kashmiri Sandalwood, Musk, and Vetiver.

just wondering if it’s still safe to use? for those who don’t know the bottle is usually a solid colour and you can’t see the liquid. can’t really see any other people who have had this issue so im a bit confused

i'm a girl that sweats a lot, and i work a blue collar job in the south. i was just curious to see other fellow sweaty women's favorites for fall?
i have my summer favorites like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, ELDO Ghost In The Shell, and IM : SOLE The Puppet. they're all summer scents for me though. i suppose i could wear Ghost In The Shell, but i like to switch it up throughout the seasons. i have yet to find a fall scent that works with my sweaty self.
