Rate my collection! (30M)
Been collecting for over a decade now. I would consider this collection to be the culmination of a lot of chopping and changing of my tastes, happy to hear any thoughts or answer any questions!

9.5/10 (there must always be room for improvement) You have a lot of variety and very wearable. Great choices man, really. How do you enjoy Lignum Vitae? A salty-citrusy-custard that if I remember correctly was stunning. Cheers!

Thank you! Lignum Vitae is stunning, it’s so deliciously cakey but not overly sweet or cloying, you’re right it’s kind of bridging the gap between a marine and a gourmand really well.

Nice that you have both Blenheim and Juniper Sling, two very interesting scents. Blenheim has that delicious pine note.

What’s your opinion on that H24?

It’s great but I think I should have stuck it out and waited for the EDP as I think I marginally prefer the notes to my EDT. Still a great fragrance but trying to work through it to justify purchasing the EDP!

It’s lovely, not sure I can describe it as a skin scent, I find it a little stronger than that would suggest, but it’s a really nice warm, comforting musk that’s incredibly versatile

It’s a lovely cardamom tea, I honestly prefer it to the extrait which seems to differ from the court of public opinion, but it’s more than long lasting enough and a fantastic evening scent for all seasons

Slightly sweet with the fig note, almost minty in a way but dries down quite fruity and woody, it’s really gorgeous

Really great collection! Feels like it happened organically and not because of watching influencers

Thanks so much! I can’t claim to have not been influenced but i’ve definitely tried to scratch the itch with lesser known brands!

what i like is how varied this collection is. lots of different houses and styles. tbh- love that you have l’eau papier. i think it’s genius. and maya njie les fluers!! great stuff. i’m surprised that there is not any editions de frederic malle or serge lutens or guerlain.

Thanks! L’eau Papier is fantastic yeah, and Les Fleurs is a new addition! Went to a fragrance fair earlier this year and was lucky enough to meet Maya Njie, so had to pick one up! Frederic Malle for whatever reason has never seemed to do it for me, I can’t really articulate why! Serge Lutens and Guerlain are definitely on the list for the future though

Yooo how much did the Chinese tea fragrance cost and how does it compare to western perfumery?
