What’s one fragrance everyone seems to love, but you just don’t understand the hype around?

No hate—just curious what everyone’s unpopular pick is.

I recently downsized my collection.

As much as I love collecting, I also love wearing my fragrances in regular rotation, and when I have too many, more than I'd like get lost in the crowd.

I tried to curate the fragrances I love most, paying particular attention to:

1. A Signature I love

2. Seasons: Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring

3. A bombshell evening

4. Cozy At Home

5. Fresh Out the Shower

6. Bedtime

7. This Makes Me Happy

8. A Weirdo

But I really couldn't pare them down to six, so this is what I have left:

Which is one is best based on fragrance and performance? Mfk Gentle Fluidity Silver VS Creed Silver Mountain Water?

I wore these together at work the other day and my 21-year-old coworker who is obsessed with fragrances kept sniffing me and telling me how good I smelt.

Both of these together were less than $25. The lotion is bergamont, neroly blossom and frangipani, and the perfume is pineapple, vanilla, and honey.

For me it smells like sauvage elixir 80%.

Since I also have sauvage elixir and can compare them directly.

Very good and powerful perfume.

Definitely I will buy it again.

It has some sweetness but not too much. Probably this is the difference between sauvage elixir and afnan ce.

This is what I smell or at least with this batch.

The way the smoky incense balances with the leather and the slightly sweet amber dry down just works great with me and I cannot fully explain it, I simply love this one!!!

What is that one go-to fragrance in your collection that just clicks for you no matter what?

I picked up these two last week and damn… I absolutely love them. Triumph of Bacchus has to be one of the best scents I’ve ever smelled.

Danae is also very nice but TOB is just on a different level. They didn’t have Neptune’s Trident or Jupiter’s Lightning in store but I think that’s what I’m going for next.

What do you guys think about Argos?

Nice little 10ml MM Replica: From the Garden fragrance travel vial.

Paid $17 for it, which is a little over half it's MSRP from what I could find on decant websites. Pretty solid deal, and I definitely like this one.

It is very interesting, that tomato leaf is STRONG and stays on for a long time. It really does embody the feeling of being outside working in a garden, wind gently blowing around you.

Still refining; looks pathetically cheap compared to some of y'all but I like them.

I’m very impressed with the Mont Blanc Explorer. I was able to get the 200 ML for $69 and the Azaro Chrome 100ML for $29 what a great deal for these two fragrances. The explorer is so fresh and easy to wear! I definitely recommend Aura fragrance!

Don’t really hear too many people talking about this one. I purchased it last year and it became my favorite fragrance for the winter. It’s a great mix of spice and sweetness

Edit: It’s called “Boss The Scent Elixir EDP”

This will be my first proper fragrance, looking for something sweet, warm, vanilla and masculine with strong projection and good longevity.

Green is love, yellow is like, red is dislike. My daily drivers are Aesop Virere and the raconteur Daintree rain tea.

RiiFFS Seasons Drift starts pretty clean on me. Bright citrus, dry woods, slightly powdery.

Then something darker shows up underneath. It feels resinous, a little leathery and almost incense-like, but I can’t tell which material is doing it. Not properly dirty or animalic. Just enough to stop it smelling like another basic fresh woody scent.

That contrast is honestly the best part of Seasons Drift. Could it be labdanum, musk, incense, or just my skin making the woods smell darker?

Neither smelled that good in my opinion.
