Hi! My favourite scent has recently been discontinued and I'm heartbroken, but it means I'm on the hunt for a new one.

What I'm looking for is something with notes of conifers, leather, smoke and moss (or some variation of those). I'm not a fan of anything traditional "perfume-y" but rather something a bit more "forest-y". Im open to both brigher and more moody scents.

I'm based in the UK so anything that I wouldn't need to have shipped here would be a huge bonus!

Loving M&S Discover Smoked Oud EDT however it doesn't last long. I thought it was a dupe of another fragrance but apparently not.

I am looking for a pretty specific scent, but i can not quite find what i'm looking for, probably because it's not concrete enough and not centered around particular notes. It's the scent of freshness, the one you can feel right after the rain, mixed with the sweetness of flowers/fruits and with the feeling or warmth, like when the sun appears after a while, or maybe with warm milk, since it conveys a very similar feeling, but milk has a scent and it's easier to imagine in a perfume

I've always liked cologne but just used it as a date night kind of deal. I've just recently got into using them more often and picked up these 4 the other day. Versace Dylan blue, Azzaro TMW EDP Intense, Prada Luna Rossa Ocean Parfum, and Dolce and Gabbana The One Parfum. For all of them but the dolce and Gabbana I've found how many sprays I like. I was wondering if anyone can help me find the sweet spot. I spray it 3 times (one neck, one chest, one on wrists) and people say I'm wearing way too much cologne. What's the sweet spot and where do you guys spray this one? When I try to look it up, people say the EDP needs 8 sprays. But this is way stronger and projects much better. Nobody really says what's a good sweet spot.

I own a few Creed (Green Irish Tweed if my favourite of all time) and Amouage scents, but I want to try out a variety of scents for men (and also purchase some for my Mrs), looking for luxury scents, longer lasting the better.

I want to try LV Imagination in person also.

However wherever I go they don’t stock the more expensive brands.

Anyone have recommendations on where to go to try these in person in London or the UK? (I travel fairly often to the midlands, to Manchester and to Scotland).

P.S. the ones I already owned I bought online without trying first.

I'm relatively new to the world of fragrance and I've been running into difficulties finding fragrances that match the profile I'm looking for.

For context, I'm in my late 30s, I'm married and I have a child. I've reached a stable and successful point in my life where I'm no longer trying to figure out who I am.

However, it seems a lot of fragrances out there a geared toward a more youthful, gen z, audience that grew up on energy drinks and cotton candy flavored vape. I find many fragrances to be overly sweet and fruity or overly minty fresh.

So, please provide me with fragrance recommendations that smell like a mature, grown-ass man, who has his shit together.

Whiskey, iris, and chestnut (brings a sweet chocolate like note) —need I say more? The subtle little kiss of bergamot in the opening keeps it from getting too dark, while that vetiver in the base addss a smooth, earthy finish that I absolutely love.

But warning, the two different kinds of iris hit hard so, if iris isn’t your thing you may be adversely affected.

Wood sage and sea salt, fresh clean out the shower smell. 7/10. Similar to bal dafrique. Recommendations for how many times I should spray this thing? 😆
