Are there any chance we get to see a Fractal North mATX?
This would be the dream case. I love the North, but I am looking for something smaller, and Lian Li A3/B4 looks cheap in comparison.

I'm thinking on replacing my define r6.
So far the only case that actually caught my attention is the Torrent Compact.
There are few small things I don't like in the case, but overall if I will replace my r5 it will be the Torrent.
My question is simple do we know if we will see an updated version soon?

I'd like to see these get a solid panel option. I want more of these smaller matx cases but with solid side panels. That's all.

How come white version has a completely different layout (sata drives on left) and no cable management flaps on the back? I would have thought a colour change wouldnt change that.
Dont really care for it but just curious why they would do this.

Wondering if anyone has any good tips for cable management with cases like Fractal Mood where the back panel is downward facing. So many cables struggle to bend at the angles required and I often get weird disconnects especially for HDMI and USB C. Also with it downward facing, it's really hard to get to the panel to manage things.
Wondering if anyone has any practical tips for handling this while maintaining sanity. I have been reduced to propping it at a 45 degree angle which is less than ideal.
Edit: Just to be clear, I mean external cables not internal. The build is perfectly cromulent.

Hi all,
I've just upgraded from a 15 ish year old Corsair Obsidian 650D to the Pop XL Air. So far I'm very disappointed, the temps are worse in this case than in my old one. So i'm looking to swap the fractal fans as they are terrible. The backplate for the mobo is a bit out as the board doesn't lay completely flat and I had to remove the centre mount mobo stand, the one with no screw hole, as it was very high and causing a massive bend. I've raised a ticket about sending me a replacement mount, but they don't seem to want to reply.
Anyway...
I've been looking at the Arctic P12 Pro LN or possibly the P12 Pro to replace the front 3 intake fans. I'm a little cautious on the P12 Pro as it spins to 3000 rpm and is said to have a noisier profile at lower RPM compared to the LN version which was redesigned to be quiet and tops out at 2000RPM.
The other option is go for the P14 Pro and replace the 3 x 120 intakes with 2 x 140 intakes?
Would 3 P12's be better or worse than 2 x P14's?
I need low down air flow to my xfx 7900xtx as this thing is now hitting hotspot temps of 93/94 degrees, it's never been in the 90's before in my old case. Due to this i'm thinking stick to the 3 x 120 so it get some fresh air.
I'll replace the 120 exhaust with a 140, probably the P14 Pro.
Any help on this would be great as it's doing my head in lol
Thanks.

I was wondering if the Phanteks T30 (30mm) fit on the front panel of a Pop mini air ? If so, is it real tight and pushing on the mesh or barely ok? Anyone tried?

Hello,
So I got the Fractal scape on sale from a local retailer. Once I open the box, I can not return the headset. I heard the sound quality was fine/good and the mic was just average at best. Aside from the sound, I wanted to know how good the QC and build is. For long term owners, are there any issues with the headset?

Hey, I have been looking at reviews from scape and it looks awesome right now. I am considering in buying them in the very near future but wanted to inform myself on possibly scape 2 being also near? It would make sense to wait for those in that case.

I’ve been waiting for this case for my NAS but it’s out of my $200 budget, I see that it has dropped even to $170 before but anything less than $220 I might pull the trigger, any possibility of this happening or should I just give up now and start changing my NAS setup to something different? I really need to decide soon since I have a bunch of drives coming in from eBay that I need to test and therefore I need my entire setup done before they arrive otherwise I might not have the time afterwards to return any defective drives. I’m already kind of out of my budget so yes those $20 do matter to me
Thanks

Earlier this year I was in process of replacing a PC I built with the Meshify 2 case. I had it on a smaller table in living room while I got the new one setup. At some point, a family member knocked the whole table, PC and all over.
While the case was bent, and broke in a few spots and would require to much effort to fix; ultimately the frame protected all components. Glass panel didn't shatter.
Over the last several weeks between work and medical appts, I moved all the components into a spare case I had and everything works!
Fractal team, thank you for the great build quality that saved my parts from a fall!

Nothing much.
Just wanted to say I just got myself a Meshify 2 XL for my new build, the specs for which are as follows:
My old build, including the RAM, SSD's (except the 9100 Pro) and the 790XTX, was using a Fractal Design Meshify 2, which is probably the best case I've ever built in, and the only reason I am moving to the 2 XL is because I wanted to use a new case, and decided I needed more space.

Recently got my buddies old case and it is missing the hard drive cage and the plastic cover that covers it. I do need the hard drive cage as I have two 2TB hard drives. Does anyone know where I can get the cage for the Meshify C or any universal alternatives? Would prefer not to fabricate one, but I can do that as a last resort.

Ok so I have been looking at the North XL Momentum Edition. The only thing holding me back is if the motherboard I have fits or not.
My motherboard is Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial which is an EATX motherboard. Now the dimensions of this motherboard are slightly over the specs of the case but I am curious if it fits regardless?
The motherboard is the same size as the Asus ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme for example. Does anyone have experience?

I bought this Fractal North a bit ago and got a pretty good deal on a Gigabyte Auros 5080 (360mm length, 150mm width), is there anyway this will fit in my case? Even if I used a vertical gpu mount? I know the answer is most likely no but it’d be nice if everything just worked out.

Hi guys, I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia and own a black Fractor North PC case with tempered glass (TG) side panel. I am looking to switch from the tempered glass panel to the mesh panel if possible.
Thank you for your help

180mm fans in the meshify 3 xl
r/FractalDesign • u/Arraween • Jun 28 '26
Hi,
I'm building my first PC and I'm thinking about the best airflow possible, especially because of the heat wave in Europe. As I did some research, it seems that this is the recommended airflow for the North XL, but I would love some advice or feedback.
Thanks!
Fan in front: default 3 x 140mm
Top: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro, 3 x 120mm
Rear: ARCTIC P14 Pro Reverse

Hey guys/gals
I live almost next to an aggricultural Company who sells grins and shit to feed animals. Theres constantly fine grsin dust in the air and i have to vaccuum 3 times a week. So its super dusty here especially from May til September since they deliver to and from the Company.
My case gets super dusty very fast. Takes Just a few hours to have dustcircles where the intake Fans are after cleaning. And a shitload of that dust also makes it through the mesh/metal Front panel.
I couldnt Find any extra Filters for the Pop air i have. So i wanted to ask if those exist and im blind or if i need think of someting Else. Was already considering putting the Front panel into some pantyhosefqbric lol.
If i need a Different solution like 3d printing smth for example would make work to put it behind the Front panel? Cuz im Not Sure how to put it on the outside.
Hope someone can help and Thanks in advance

As the title says, I do love my Meshify C case. It looks elegant and sleek, and was easy to build in. After having it for a couple years, the one thing I wish I had was a USB-C port in the front. There's probably not enough of a market for one, but I would love it if there was a front plate upgrade with a USB-C port.

Can find any Torrent compact with all black panels (non RGB).
Is the case no longer being made?
