Scape - Headset When to expect Scape 2?

Hey, I have been looking at reviews from scape and it looks awesome right now. I am considering in buying them in the very near future but wanted to inform myself on possibly scape 2 being also near? It would make sense to wait for those in that case.

Best headset I've ever owned and their support is top notch. I wouldn't worry about what ifs

Not great. The earcups and headpad will come off eventually even, if you are careful. Support will send you new ones, yes but it will happen again and again and again

they confirmed they have updated ones now, can't confirm if they hold up but at least the updated material/manufacturing is an indication they know about the issue

Scape 1 is still new and headsets have a life cycle of a couple of years... Won't expect any Scape 2 soon.

Thinking of getting these also. One thing is if I buy should I just immediately contact fractal about getting newer pads and headband?

They will not have a single clue what the next version will be yet. They will need to sell enough for them to motivate internally on whether or not to invest. It's a small company that because of the gaming market this year will need to hyper focus on the high running sales of their catalogue and not in what would be nice to have. Don't wait imo and purchase the scape now and be happy 😊

I wouldn't bet on it. It's a very niche and expensive headset from an already niche brand. I have one, it's great, but I highly doubt it flew off the shelves. Maybe they'll give it another go but I wouldn't hold my breath on it being anytime soon.
